We Didn't Realize We Were Making Memories, We Just Knew We Were Having Fun!

As we wrap up another amazing summer at Anderson Early Learning Academy, we're taking a moment to look back on all the smiles, friendships, learning, and unforgettable moments that filled our classrooms and playgrounds.
This summer was full of growth, laughter, new experiences, and countless reasons to celebrate our incredible students and team. Looking at these photos reminds us that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

To our families, thank you for trusting us to be part of your child's journey. To our team, thank you for your dedication, patience, creativity, and heart. And to our students, thank you for making every day an adventure worth remembering.
As one chapter closes, another begins. We are excited to welcome back returning students and families and greet those joining the AELA family for the first time this fall.

Here's to new beginnings, new friendships, new goals, and another year of making memories together!

Splish, Splash, Summer Learning!

Warm summer days bring so many opportunities for fun, learning, and exploration at Anderson Early Learning Academy! Water play is one of our students’ favorite activities, and it offers so much more than just a way to cool off.

For our students water play provides meaningful opportunities to:
• Build sensory regulation and self-calming skills
• Strengthen fine and gross motor development
• Practice social interaction and cooperative play
• Encourage communication and language development
• Improve attention, engagement, and problem-solving skills

Whether students are pouring, splashing, scooping, spraying, or exploring different textures, they are learning through play while staying active and engaged. These hands-on experiences help make summer learning meaningful, motivating, and fun!

At AELA, we believe some of the best learning happens when children are smiling, exploring, and enjoying the world around them.

ABA Strategies for Toilet Training: Building Independence at Home

Anderson Early Learning Academy is excited to launch Growing Together, a new family‑centered learning series designed to empower parents and caregivers with the same strategies and supports used in the classroom.
Why? Because children grow best when home and school work together.
Our Growing Together sessions will help families:
✨ Understand Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and how it supports communication, social skills, independence, and positive behavior.
✨ Learn practical tools—like reinforcement, behavior functions, and the ABCs of behavior—that you can confidently use at home.
✨ Strengthen carryover of the evidence‑based techniques used in your child’s educational environment.
✨ Build routines that encourage success, connection, and meaningful growth.
When caregivers understand why behaviors happen and how to respond, children experience more consistency, clearer communication, and greater progress across settings.
At AELA, we believe behavior is communication—and when families have the knowledge to interpret and support that communication, everyone grows together.
