🇺🇸 100 Students. 100 Veterans. A personal thank you from the next generation.

Creating A Giving Culture LV is planning a Veterans Day tribute that brings young people and veterans together so students can personally thank those who served.

Our purpose is to help children understand the people behind the uniform, their service, their sacrifices, and why we honor them. We want veterans to hear directly from our youth: Your service matters. We remember. We are grateful.

Each student will present a veteran with a thank-you card, a flower, and a commemorative challenge coin. The coin will be a lasting reminder of that connection, featuring a student’s hand clasping a veteran’s hand and the words “Your Service Inspires Our Next Generation.”

Would you help make that moment possible by sponsoring a coin for approximately $20? Families and businesses can sponsor one coin, several, or contribute any amount.

We’re a local, youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we need our community’s help to bring this tribute to life. Donation receipts are available.

Calling all teachers, school clubs & youth groups! 🚒🚓💌

Help Creating A Giving Culture LV celebrate First Responders Day on October 28 with appreciation books from Las Vegas youth!

Our goal: 32 books
22 for fire stations and 10 for Las Vegas Metro police area commands.

Your classroom or group can adopt a location and fill a binder with students thank you letters, drawings and heartfelt messages.

📝 Use 8½ × 11-inch paper and include each child’s first name and grade on every letter and picture.

💌 We’ll coordinate , pick up collection and delivery!

🎈 Community Help Needed for a Hospice Birthday Wish 🎈

We’re preparing a special birthday celebration for a child receiving hospice care, and we would love the community’s help with decorations to make their birthday wish come true.

A wish list link with the needed decorations and supplies. If you’re able to donate an item or help sponsor part of the celebration, every contribution will help us create a joyful and memorable birthday for this deserving child.

On October 1, Las Vegas remembers.

Creating A Giving Culture LV is bringing local youth together for a simple but meaningful Vegas Strong Flower Tribute. Students will each bring one flower and write a short message of hope, remembrance and community strength.

Together, these individual flowers and messages will become one beautiful tribute honoring the lives lost, the survivors, the first responders and the strength of our Las Vegas community.

If your student would like to participate, please send us a message. The final time and location will be announced soon.

No matter their age, our youth can help carry forward the love, compassion and unity that make our community Vegas Strong. 💜

As our 9/11 Remembrance Wall’s journey comes to an end, my heart is filled with gratitude.

Creating this tribute for the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, was deeply important to me. My generation was not alive on 9/11, but remembering what happened and ensuring that the lives, courage, and sacrifices of that day are never forgotten is now part of our responsibility.

I am deeply grateful to Commissioner Justin Jones and Ms. Kristina for welcoming us to the Great American Kickoff and allowing our wall to stand as part of such a meaningful remembrance ceremony. Giving young people a place in moments like this sends a powerful message: our voices matter, our service matters, and remembrance does not end with the generation that lived through September 11, 2001.

None of the students who contributed to this wall were alive on 9/11, yet hundreds of young people from across Las Vegas chose to learn, reflect, create, and honor the innocent lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

Watching our youth created tribute stand behind the Color Guard and listening to the National Anthem was a moment I will never forget. Every card represented a young person making a promise to carry these stories forward. This wall became more than a project it became proof that remembrance can be passed from one generation to the next.

Thank you, Commissioner Jones and Ms. Kristina, for believing in our youth, always making space for us, and allowing their commitment to be seen by our community. Being included in this ceremony was an incredible honor and the perfect conclusion to a journey that has touched more lives than I ever imagined.

Our 25th-anniversary remembrance events may be ending, but our promise never will.

We will remember. We will honor. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Thank you JustServe Vegas for welcoming Creating a Giving Culture LV and allowing is to share our youth created 9/11 Rememberance Wall at the 3rd Annual Community Day of Service 9/11 Rememberance Event.

What began as one young person’s vision became a promise carried by students throughout the Clark County School District. Hundreds of handwritten cards each created by a child or teenager who was not yet born on September 11, 2001 came together to honor the lives lost, recognize the heroes and ensure that a new generation understands its responsibility to remember.

We are deeply grateful to Governor Joe Lombardo Congresswoman Rep. Dina Titus , Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero , Councilman Jim Seebock, Commissioner Jim Gibson, Stomper and every community leader, veteran, service member, first responder and community member who took the time to stop, read the students’ messages and stand beside our wall. Your presence showed our young people that their voices, their service and their promise to remember truly matter.

A special thank you to Juni, the talented 17-year-old Arbor View High School student who painted the mural, and Marine veteran Mr. Ken, who stepped forward to build the wall’s foundation and helped bring Aiyana’s vision to life.

Most importantly, thank you to every CCSD Clark County School District student, teacher, school and family who contributed a card. This wall belongs to all of you. Every drawing, every message and every carefully written word carries forward the memory of nearly 3,000 lives and honors the courage of the heroes who ran toward danger.

Twenty-five years later, a generation that was not there stood together and made one promise:

We will remember the lives.
We will honor the heroes.
We will carry their stories forward.

Today was more powerful than I ever could have imagined.

Standing beside a Purple Heart veteran and so many heroes who understand the true meaning of service, sacrifice, and remembrance is a moment I will carry with me forever. Watching veterans, first responders, community leaders, and families stop to read the cards created by young people across Las Vegas brought this dream to life.

This wall was created to ensure that even those of us who were not alive on September 11, 2001, understand that remembering is now our responsibility. Today proved that when young people are welcomed into meaningful spaces, our voices can honor the past and help carry its lessons forward.

I am incredibly grateful to Ms. Christine and the Las Vegas Ten-13 Club 9/11 Remembrance for welcoming us with open arms and giving local youth the opportunity to stand alongside our heroes and be part of such a sacred day.

This was more than the unveiling of a wall. It was generations coming together with one promise:

We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, students at Wynn Elementary School are sharing they will never forget and creating heartfelt cards for our 9/11 Remembrance Wall. 🇺🇸

It is our responsibility to teach younger generations about September 11, 2001 to honor the lives lost, remember the heroes, and ensure their stories are carried forward.

They were not there, but through remembrance, they will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

When someone backs out on a commitment at the last minute, it can feel as though the project you have spent months planning is suddenly going to fail.

In that moment of fear and disappointment, a wonderful woman reminded us: God is good. He will place the people in your life who need to be there the people who are truly meant to be part of the journey.

She was absolutely right.

God sent us Mr. Ken, an incredible veteran who stepped forward when we needed help most. Without hesitation, he gave his time, skills, and heart to build the framework for our youth-created 9/11 Remembrance Wall and make sure this important tribute could stand proudly at our community events.

What initially felt like a devastating setback became one of our greatest blessings. Not only did Mr. Ken save this project, but we gained a wonderful friend whom we now consider part of our family for life.

Mr. Ken, thank you for serving our country and for continuing to serve your community. Because of you, the voices and artwork of hundreds of young people will be seen, their tribute will stand, and their promise to never forget will be shared. We will never be able to express how deeply grateful we are. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

🚨 URGENT COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED 🚨

We are urgently looking for someone with carpentry or framing experience who can donate their time to help build the frames for our youth created 9/11 Remembrance Wall.

We had someone committed to building them, but unfortunately, they backed out at yesterday. The tribute wall must be completed for Friday’s 9/11 remembrance events.

We already have all of the lumber, screws, panels, and materials. We are not asking anyone to donate supplies. We simply need someone with the experience and heart to help us put the frames together.

Young people throughout our community created this tribute to honor the lives lost, recognize the heroes, and ensure the stories of September 11 are never forgotten. We have worked incredibly hard to bring their vision to life, and we are so close to the finish line.

If you can help us build the frames before Friday, or know a carpenter, contractor, handyman, or experienced builder who may be willing to volunteer, please message me as soon as possible.
