Las Vegas Area Sigma Kappa Alumnae Open to all Sigma Kappa Alumnae living in the Las Vegas area All members of Sigma Kappa Sorority visiting or residing in the Las Vegas area, welcome home!

The purpose of the Las Vegas Area Sigma Kappa Alumnae chapter is to promote sisterhood within the chapter, recruit current and past members and provide personal growth and leadership opportunities both inside and outside of the chapter. We strive to plan a wide variety of programming for all ages and interests and we invite all Sigma Kappa alumnae to come and celebrate our common background, simil

ar ideals, and interests as have been doing for more than half a century. We support the collegiate chapter Theta Eta at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Advantages to membership in the Las Vegas Area Sigma Kappa Alumnae Chapter:
--Share memories of collegiate days with other Sigma Kappa sisters
--Support the collegiate chapter by serving on advisory and corporation boards
--Recommend women for membership
--Expand circles of friendship
--Participate in interesting programs
--Develop new skills and interpersonal relationships
--Plan and participate in philanthropic activities
--Develop business and social contacts

Hi Sisters,

First, I want to apologize for our lack of events, etc. While not a great excuse, our engaged membership that usually plans things have had tremendous life and work changes while coming out of Covid… and with a lack of engagement, we had to make the choice to stop hosting until we could have more engagement, and that choice included the decision to start fresh in 2023.

We will begin posting more frequently and trying to find opportunities to get together at a variety of times and locations in the valley. (Many with close freeway access for those who would have to travel further) If you are interested in helping us engage, we will have a “meeting” in March to do some planning. Be on the lookout for the invite on this page!

Chapters are battling it out for more than just bragging rights!

College Fresh, a national campus food provider, will provide a catered brunch for the chapter whose alumnae raise the most during the 1874 Minutes of Giving. What a wonderful way to win a prize for your chapter of initiation!

Please note: If a closed chapter wins, another type of celebratory event will be hosted.
