Ready. Set. Give back. 🏁

The Las Vegas Non Profit Grand Prix is bringing the community together for a one of a kind event combining friendly competition, incredible food, raffle prizes, and support for local nonprofits making a difference in Southern Nevada.

Nonprofits will go head to head on the track at Gene Woods Racing Experience while raising awareness and support for their missions. Whether you’re racing, sponsoring, donating, or attending, every lap helps create impact right here in our community.

This is a family friendly event, and from 1 PM to 5 PM the public will have opportunities to race for free in between the nonprofit race sessions, making it a fun experience for everyone attending.

Important Update

This past Saturday, we went out for what turned into a morning focused more on quality than quantity. It started with just me, and eventually 2 other people joined. Honestly, I enjoyed the smaller group. It gave me the space to just put my head down and do the work without worrying about coordinating a larger crowd.

About an hour in, a man walking along the tracks came up and asked if I had water. Of course, I gave him one. Then he asked if he could help.

That moment was a reminder that what we’re building is about more than just picking up trash. It’s about creating opportunity, building connection, and giving people a chance to be part of something positive, especially those who don’t often get that chance. It reminded me exactly why I keep showing up every Saturday.

But the reality is, this mission comes at a cost.

Truck expenses, insurance, gas, supplies, and program stipends all add up. I’ve reached out to everyone I know trying to keep this going, but the support hasn’t been enough to sustain it. As of now, the bank account is negative.

Because of that, I have to put the project on hold.

This isn’t something I want to do, but I can’t continue operating like this month to month. I need to find a sustainable way forward. Doing this alone has been tough, and I know I can’t keep carrying it without support.

If you have ideas, resources, or are willing to step up and help, I’m open. I truly believe in what this can become, but I can’t do it by myself.

For now, all cleanups are paused.

I appreciate everyone who has supported and helped carry this mission as far as it’s come. 🙏🫡

Pick It Up Update!

Hello everyone,
I know I’ve been slacking on the social media, but we are still out here going strong every Saturday.

Over the last week.
- Sams Club came out and was kind enough to donate to our organization. Thank you samsclub!
- -Vegas Stronger held a cleanup day that I attended. We focused our efforts in the downtown neighborhood. Thank you Dave at vegasstrongerofficial for making a difference I. Our city.🫡
- coxcommunications showed up DEEP to make our city a better place. Thank you Mariah for reaching out.🫡
- Finally, we had a youth group that came out to help clean up Wetlands Park. We love to see the youth getting engaged in action. 🫡

We are still here. Still pushing every weekend.
