Subject: Support for the America 250 Project at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share with you an important initiative, the America 250 Project, which aims to honor and commemorate the rich history and enduring spirit of our nation. This significant endeavor seeks to establish a permanent monument at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.

The America 250 Project is dedicated to creating a lasting tribute that honors the sacrifices and contributions of our veterans. The Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, a sacred resting place for those who have served our country, will be the home for this monument. This site offers a meaningful and fitting location to pay homage to our heroes, ensuring their legacy endures for future generations.

We invite members of the community, veterans, and supporters of our nation’s history to contribute to this noble cause. Your generous donations will directly support the construction and maintenance of this monument, symbolizing freedom, resilience, and patriotism.

Donations can be sent to the following address:

American Legion Nevada Post 76
It's that time of year again!
The Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade is occurring on Friday, July 4th, 2025, and the American Legion Post 76 “Spirit of Freedom” will be escorted by the Scouts of Troop & Pack 312 in this annual display of patriotism. Here are the details of the morning parade for our organizations:

We are encouraging all participants from the Post and the Scouts to meet at the north parking lot of Garden’s Park (10401 Garden Park Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135) at 6:30 AM. We (both Post members and Scouts) will be carpooling to the parade area, as we have a limited number of parking passes (10 Total).
We will depart Garden’s Park at 7:00 AM and travel to/park in the “Red Lot”, located at 1576 Crestdale Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89144.
From the Red Lot, we will load onto the shuttle bus at that location and get off the shuttle bus at drop-off point #2.
For those individuals that will be participating, but not meeting the Post or Scouts at Garden’s Park, they can be dropped off at the intersection of Crestdale Ln. and Hillpointe Rd. However, there is very little parking available surrounding the parade route.
Our Post and Scout units are Entry . We are to locate the sign marked E16 and form up immediately in front of that sign.
We will have Two vehicles; one towing a trailer for our Legionnaires to sit in for the parade route, and the other is a convertible with our signs telling viewers about our post. Vehicles must enter the parade area through the approved vehicle staging area located at the intersection of Lake Mead Blvd. and Hillpointe Rd.
Our Scouts will form up the Color Guard, as well as two-to-three lines behind the flag formation.
Our portion of the parade will step off at 8:30 AM, and the route is approximately one mile.
At the end of the parade route, walkers will continue forward to the shuttle bus pick-up area. Drivers will follow exit signs and depart.
The shuttle bus will bring walkers back to the “Red Lot” where we will all get into the vehicles that we carpooled in earlier that morning and then depart for Garden’s Park.
The estimated time of arrival back to Garden’s Park should be between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM
I have attached the unit instruction guide to this email, should you wish to evaluate it. Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for all that you do!

(NOTE: we can not attach to the email forwarding program we use, so if you want a copy of the unit instructions, please reply to [email protected] and we will send it to you individually.)
