People really be walking around thinking they’re just toxic. Like that’s just who they are now. And it’s not even that.

It’s the fact that nobody ever taught you how to understand yourself, so now everything you feel, you react to it, hold onto it, act on it… and then turn around and blame yourself for it.

Not realizing you’ve just been moving off something you never learned how to see in the first place.

This isn’t random.

This is happening every day, especially in our communities, where most of us were taught how to survive… not how to slow down and understand what’s actually going on with us.

So yeah, you overreact sometimes.
You hold onto things longer than you need to.
You say things you wish you could take back.

And then you label it. Instead of paying attention to what’s really happening.

Because truth is… your thoughts will put you in moods that don’t even match what’s going on, and once you’re in that mood, you move from it like it’s real.

That’s where the damage comes from.

Not because you’re toxic…but because you’ve never been shown how to see it differently.

You know what’s crazy… a lot of people didn’t choose to be strong, you just had to be. There wasn’t really space to fall...

You know what’s crazy… a lot of people didn’t choose to be strong, you just had to be. There wasn’t really space to fall apart, nobody was sitting around asking how you felt, you just figured it out the best way you could and kept it moving.

And after doing that for so long, it starts to feel like that’s just who you are. Like you always gotta hold everything together, like you don’t get to have a moment, like you don’t get to feel off or just not be okay for a second.

But that’s not even real strength… that’s survival.

And a lot of people don’t even realize how much they’ve been carrying because it’s been normal for so long.

This space right here is really for the ones who been moving like that. The ones who been holding it together without even thinking about it.

You ever notice how certain things just don't do it for you anymore?

Like you can be sitting in a conversation, or in a space you used to be cool with, and now you just kind of sit there looking around like… yeah, I don’t know. This just isn't for me like it used to be.

And it’s not even that anything is wrong. That’s the crazy part. Everything can look the same on the outside… but the way you’re seeing it now is different.

The way you’re thinking is different. What you’re okay with is different.

And once you get to that point, it’s hard to go back to just moving how you used to move.

Some people try though. They go right back to what’s familiar, what’s comfortable, what everybody else is doing… even when it doesn't really sit right with them anymore.

But then there are people who start paying attention to that feeling and really try to understand what’s going on with them.

That’s really where The AUM came from.

Just from being in that same space and realizing… a lot of us were never actually taught how our mind works, or why we feel the way we feel in the first place.

So we wanted to create somewhere you can slow down, really get a better understanding of yourself, and not feel like you gotta figure everything out on your own.

If you’ve been feeling like that lately, you’re not off.

You’re just starting to see things a little clearer.

You get so used to being the one that holds everything together… you don’t even realize how much of yourself you’ve slowly put to the side.

Like… you still show up. You still laugh. You still do what needs to be done.

But if you really think about it… it’s not the same. It doesn’t feel the same.

You’re there, but not all the way there like you used to be.

And after a while, that just becomes your normal.

Nobody really questions it. You don’t even question it.

You just keep going.

But it’s not supposed to feel like that.

You’re not supposed to lose yourself just trying to keep everything else afloat.

That version of you… the real you… is still there.

You just haven’t had the space to get back to yourself for a minute.

If this hit you even a little bit…

don’t ignore that.

Take a second for yourself today. Not for anybody else. Just you.

The kind where your mind isn’t running, you’re not thinking about what’s next, and you’re not carrying anything for a minute.

Most people don’t even realize how long it’s been.

At this point, it’s not even something you think about. You just move.

But if you’re being real… it’s been sitting with you a little more lately.

Not loud. Just enough to make you pause for a second.

You’ve been moving different. Thinking different. Looking at things you used to accept like… “nah.”

Most people push past that feeling. Go back to what’s familiar. Some of us don’t.

Done with being the strong one?
Because somehow it always ends up being you. You hold it together. You figure it out. You show up… even when you don’t feel like it. And people respect you for it. They depend on you.
But nobody really asks what it takes for you to be that person all the time. There’s no break in that role. No off switch. Just you… carrying it.
At some point, it stops feeling like strength and starts feeling like weight. That’s the part most people don’t talk about.
You don’t need to be “stronger.” You might just need a space where you don’t have to be the strong one for a minute.
That’s part of what we’re building with The AUM.

Most people don’t know how to explain what they’ve been feeling…
They just know something isn’t sitting right anymore.
Not in a dramatic way. Not in a “my life is falling apart” way.
Just…
a quiet shift.
You start noticing things differently.
Conversations don’t hit the same.
The way you’ve been “pushing through” starts to feel… tired.
So you try the usual things:
-talk it out
-stay busy
-stay positive
-keep going
But what if…
none of that is actually the answer?
That’s where we started.

And that’s what led to this.
The AUM.

A different kind of space.
