🙏 Well, not going to sugar coat it…we are flat broke in the Rescue account. When you have seniors, special needs and hospice kitties, the vet clinic is a rotating door. As grateful as we are for our handful of regular donors, we are just at a point where some hard decisions have to be made. So we are no longer taking new cats. Sometimes I think that people forget that when they ask us to take cats, and they even donate towards those new cats, that those cats require ongoing medical care care, feeding, etc. We have always subsidized the food and litter and other supplies personally and all donations go to medical. Now we are personally paying for medical also and it’s not sustainable. We need to focus on the cats in our care and with our fosters for the time being. That said, I’m hoping that some of you can find it in your hearts to send a little the cats’ way, or to donate directly to our account at the vet by calling them at 701-941-3336. We have PayPal, Venmo, Zelle with links on our website. No donation is ever too small! That’s why it takes a village. Just so you know, no cat is ever short changed with care. Our obligation is to them, and we will not withhold medical care ever for lack of funds. Jim will just never be able to retire and he’s tired 😂. Thank you!
