Join ACS CAN's Black Volunteer Caucus (BVC) affinity group for a virtual film screening of Transforming Our Legacy: A St. Louis Story! This short film from our partners at Transform 314 highlights personal stories of three generations of Black St. Louisans and explores the ways that generations of policies, including segregation and disinvestment, have shaped the city's predominately Black neighborhoods and the health and cancer outcomes of those communities. The film will be followed by a live Q&A with the storytellers from the film. Open to the public.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration just authorized four new flavored ni****ne pouches, directly compromising the fight against cancer and threatening to sustain youth ni****ne use.

The flavors in this authorization? Rich Berry, Cappuccino, and Autumn Spice.

One-third of all cancer deaths in the U.S. are a result of to***co use. Decades of evidence show that Big To***co has used flavored products, among other deceptive marketing tactics, to addict youth to its deadly products.

We urge the FDA to swiftly reconsider this authorization and to put the health of the public and young people first—before the profit margins of Big To***co.

Without the research, where do we go? Where do we end up? I believe, and I feel, that cancer research should continue. It has kept me here. It's kept patients that I take care of here.

Hello Nevada!

We’re in the middle of our regional Lights of Hope challenge, and I’m asking for your help to keep our Nevada team strong.

If you have been wanting to get Lights of Hope bags, would you consider making a donation to one of our team pages? Every Lights of Hope bag purchased honors someone impacted by cancer — a survivor, someone still fighting, someone we’ve lost, or a caregiver — and helps support the advocacy work of ACS CAN.

Even one bag makes a difference, and during this challenge, every donation helps us move closer to our goal and show the strength of our Nevada team.

If you’d like to support, you can donate to one of our team members pages below:
