I was heartbroken to hear that Charlie Kirk was tragically killed in Utah. As a father, husband, and bold Christian leader, his impact on young people spreading the Gospel was immense.

This reminds us that our battle is spiritual (Ephesians 6:12), but God has already won. Let’s continue to live boldly, shine light in darkness, and guide those who are lost—just as Charlie did. ✨

This also reminds me that if we are persecuted for Christ’s sake we are blessed (Matthew 5:10-12). Despite the fear we may feel, it is important that we keep spreading the Gospel to the lost because fear is not of God. ✨

Key Takeaways …
🔑 2nd Photo: Money itself is tool, but when it becomes our obsession or idol, it leads us away from God.

🔑 3rd Photo: We are steward’s not owners. Everything we have is ultimately gods, and we are called to manage it wisely.

🔑 4th Photo: Generosity reflects God’s character. Giving isn’t about obligation, but about joyfully sharing what He’s given us.

🔑 5th Photo: Debt can trap us and limit our freedom to serve God fully. The Bible encourages wisdom and caution when dealing with money.

🔑 6th Photo: Money is uncertain, but God is constant. We are told to trust Him with our security not our bank account.

🔑 7th Photo: God honors honest work and integrity. Wealth gained the wrong way isn’t blessed.

Luke 5: 36-39
Then He Spoke a parable to them: "No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one, otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine burst the wineskin and be spilled and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine muse be put into new wineskins and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, 'the old is better.' "

I do not know who this is exactly for but sometimes our circumstances may feel crushing. In the process of making wine, grapes are crushed. Some situations may feel crushing but they are necessary and are meant to refine us. Trust that God is taking your situation and that he is creating something beautiful within you. Being an empty vessel is just surrendering that to the Lord. You are not your situation but some situations require new perspective. New Year, New Wine.

Staying calm in the midst of trials is extremely challenging however if you keep your eyes on Jesus, you will make it through the storm with an overwhelming sense of peace. To be honest, I struggled a lot with even the concept of this for the longest time. No matter how much I tried, I could not take my eyes off of the situations that I encountered sometimes. I felt the need to show people that I was good by the things I did, and how I would carry myself, because I felt that if I could get the approval of people only then would I be good enough. When all along, I was being deceived. Although, there was nothing I could do to measure up to what I thought was perfect, Jesus met me where I was at, took me by the the hand, and I learned the Truth. I never had to do anything in the first place, Jesus did it all. So stop letting the world limit what you think you can accomplish, Jesus will grant you the strength to weather anything, all you have to do is trust Him.
