A Heartfelt Thank You & A Reality Check 🩺

We are feeling completely overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible army of supporters who have stepped up to help with Ella’s medical bills. Your generosity has been an absolute lifeline for us. ❤️

At the same time, our hearts truly go out to all the families and fellow rescues currently struggling under the weight of astronomical veterinary costs. If we had moved forward with Ella’s surgery right here in Las Vegas, the estimates were soaring close to $6,000. With her current conditions the total would be at $9000. Thankfully, by exploring other options, her current medical bills are sitting at $2,550—though she still has her spay procedure ahead of her down the line.

All in all, it is an enormous amount of money for any working family /rescue to come up with. We simply couldn't navigate this without each and every one of you standing beside us. Thank you for loving Ella and believing in our mission! 🙏✨

🥹❤ Ella Update

Ella is back at the veterinary hospital. Her blood work came back clear aside from confirming pancreatitis, which the vet believes may have triggered her seizures. Because seizures have started, the vet strongly advised starting her on anti-seizure and supportive medication right away to keep them from recurring or worsening.

She is staying overnight so the medical team can monitor her closely and begin her treatment plan. While the hospital stay and treatment costs are significantly higher than anticipated, she is in excellent hands and receiving wonderful care.

Through no fault of his own, Milo bounced around a bit—first with a family who could no longer keep him, then with friends who simply lacked the funds and setup for his care. 💔 Now, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and 100% prepped for his forever family! 🏡🎉

Foodie Alert (Slow Feeder Pro!): Milo LOVES his food! 😂 We use a slow feeder bowl to pace his meals, and he’s learned great manners about respecting other pups' bowls. 🥣

Crate Trained Champion: Snoozes happily in his crate when it’s downtime. 💤

Safety First: Milo can be a little “Door Dasher” when an exit opens! 🚪💨 His new family will need to stay mindful around open exterior doors while he bonds and masters his recall cues. A secure, spacious backyard for safe zoomies would be his dream come true! 🌳🎾

🚨 AN URGENT UPDATE & HUMBLE PLEA FOR SWEET ELLA 🐾💔

We truly hate having to ask for help, and we are so deeply sorry to have to come back to our community a third time. You have already shown up for Ella in such incredible ways, and we cannot express how grateful we are for every single bit of support you’ve given her.

As many of you know, Ella underwent major FHO (femoral head ostectomy) hip surgery, and her surgical leg has been healing so well. But just when we thought she was finally in the clear, our hearts dropped. Last night, Ella suffered two back-to-back seizure episodes.

Seeing this tiny 7-pound girl go through something so terrifying has been agonizing. Because she experienced cluster seizures, we cannot wait—she needs urgent diagnostic bloodwork and a full neurological workup to find out what is causing this and get her safely regulated.

Ella’s immediate medical needs include:

1. Comprehensive blood chemistry & CBC to assess organ function and glucose/electrolyte levels

2. Bile acids testing to check for liver issues

3. Seizure management care

We know times are tough, and asking for funds again weighs heavily on our hearts. 💔 But Ella has fought so hard to overcome pain and make it this far—she deserves every chance to live a happy, healthy life.
