The Pom Palace Dog Rescue is potentially looking for temporary foster homes for some incredibly sweet "pommies" who might need a safe place to land this summer.

If you have a little extra room in your heart and home, you can make a massive difference in a rescue pup's life!

Las Vegas, NV — Meet Bootsie, a pint-sized princess ready to find her furever home! At 9 years young, this little gal is truly tiny, weighing in at just 4 lbs and 5 oz (with a target ideal weight of around 5 lbs).

Bootsie is as dainty as they come and loves the royal treatment—including being lovingly hand-fed her breakfast and dinner. If you are looking for a loyal companion, she is ready to be your shadow! Whether she’s lounging next to you on the couch or sleeping soundly by your side every night, Bootsie is all about comfort and connection.

A quick note from us: This little lady has a funny habit of chewing on cords, so her new home will need to be safely "puppy-proofed" with no dangling wires.

Bootsie has a wonderfully loving personality and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is naturally inquisitive and loves going for short walks, though she tires out quickly—which is perfect, because she fits right into a purse! Best of all? She is incredibly quiet. We’ve only heard her bark a single time!

Her Daily Routine
I thrive on a schedule! Here is the routine I’ve been doing so well with:
8:00 AM: First potty break & Breakfast (¼ cup dry food with 1 tbsp of topper).
12:30 PM: Mid-day potty break.
1:00 PM: Snack time (I love treats!).
6:00 PM: Dinner & potty break.
9:00 PM: Last call for potty before bed.
Supplements: To keep me feeling my best, I take a multivitamin with probiotics, Turkey Tail immune support, and seaweed powder for my pearly whites.

Urgent Help Needed (With a Glimmer of Hope!) 🐾

We need to ask our amazing community for a little extra help today. Honestly, it is hard for me to ask for this help, and I really dislike continously asking!!

Lately, adoptions have completely slowed down, which always puts a heavy strain on our daily operations. While the dogs are safe and loved, the bills to keep their environment safe, comfortable, and healthy don’t stop coming.

Right now, we are trying to cover $287 in critical immediate expenses to keep everything running smoothly this month:

Southwest Gas: $107 (To keep the rescue comfortable)

Water Bill: $40 (For fresh drinking water and endless loads of laundry)

Cell Bill: $95 (Our lifeline for rescue calls, vet coordination, and adoption inquiries) We pay 50% of the bill personally.

Vaccinations for Koda: $45 (To keep this sweet pup healthy and protected)

🌱 Looking Ahead: A Path to Self-Sufficiency
While things are tight right this second, there is bright news on the horizon! I am currently starting a exciting new business opportunity that will generate steady support for the rescue moving forward. Our ultimate goal is to become much more self-sufficient so we don't have to rely heavily on emergency donations!

We just need a little help bridging the gap to get through this final stretch while this new venture gets off the ground.
