A big shout out to scholarship recipient on receiving this well deserved award.

We are thrilled to announce that our student Nick Stewart has won a Award in this year’s photo competition!

Stewart’s submission was part of a photo essay created for The Nevada Independent, where he documented the World Gay Rodeo Finals at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center this past October. His work not only covered the events but also highlighted the culture of gay rodeos which trace their origins back to Reno.

Stewart was selected as a top 20 winner in the Hearst Photo One Competition!
