The TLOD Greater Las Vegas Community Beautification Committee continues to do its part in helping make our communities decent, safe, and welcoming places to live.

Through our Plant Gram Deliveries and “Know Thy Neighbor” Plant Gram Initiative, we are spreading kindness, encouraging neighborhood pride, and strengthening connections one plant at a time.

The Ladies proudly canvassed the D Street and Van Buren area, joined by a parent and teen who helped share plants, positivity, and community spirit with residents.

Together, we are building stronger relationships and helping create neighborhoods that feel connected, cared for, and beautiful.

Congratulations to Lady Kenyatta and the Status of Women Committee on a beautiful and successful 6th Annual Tea designed to raise awareness during Mental Health Month.

The venue, Waldorf Astoria’s Peacock Alley Tea Room, was exceptional. The teas and food were wonderful, and the planned activities were heartfelt and meaningful. It was a memorable experience, and we were grateful to share it with our teens.

A special thank you to the Top Ladies who helped make it possible for our teens to participate: Ladies Clair, Lydia, Candance, Marilyn, and Rose. Your generosity is truly appreciated.

In sisterhood, let us carry this momentum forward to continue making a positive impact.

It is with great sadness that the members of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Greater Las Vegas Chapter, share the passing of our beloved sister, Lady Margaret Batts.

Lady Margaret transitioned on February 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of grace, service, and dedication to the ideals of our organization. Her warmth, leadership, and commitment to excellence touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service honoring Lady Margaret will be held on April 11, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Details regarding live streaming will be provided by Lord Jessie Batts once arrangements have been finalized, allowing all who loved her to join in celebrating her remarkable life.

May her spirit continue to inspire and guide us as we remember her with love and gratitude.
