About Us
In 1967 my father, Rev. James Cleveland, also known as the King of Gospel Music, created a platform to assist in the structuring and preservation of gospel music. His vision was so that singers, musicians, writers, and producers of gospel music would be able to come together on one accord to cultivate their crafts.
In keeping with my fathers vision, the James Cleveland Gospel Music Experience (JCGME) has been birthed. We will continue in keeping my father’s original vision, by providing a platform for new and upcoming gospel music enthusiasts, in addition to educating while paying homage to other gospel music legends that have paved a way, but are no longer with us (gone but never forgotten). We will also present Christian students majoring in music with scholarships.
The JCGME is not for artists only. If you are a lover of GOSPEL MUSIC, this will be a wonderful, uplifting experience for you as well. Let’s come together and make GOSPEL music great all over the world.
