Behind the Blue

09/29/2026

Our community outreach sergeant and teammate from LVMPD South Central Area Command played like pros at Behind the Blue's Pickleball Tournament hosted at The Courts LV ! This tournament raised awareness and support for all that Behind the Blue does to give back and take care of our officers and their families.

Thank you to RPM Pickleball and all who came out to play (pickle)ball in support of a great cause!

Thank you, Neil for your unwavering support of our law enforcement community.

With heavy hearts, the Injured Police Officers Fund mourns the passing of Neil Sackmary.

Neil was a longtime friend of IPOF and of law enforcement agencies throughout the valley. He was someone who showed up for others and made a lasting impact on those around him.

His kindness and presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.

Those who wish to pay their respects are invited to attend his service.
