Clark County School District and CCEA have officially kicked off the Feeder School Project. Together, we are working to strengthen and improve student achievement at 18 schools in CCSD. This is an innovative and comprehensive model that works to improve literacy and math proficiencies, and high school graduation rates. We are excited to work together to raise the standard!

The School Organizational Team (SOT) nomination process began Thursday, August 20th, 2026, and will continue through 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. You can nominate yourself or a colleague to represent licensed staff members on the SOT. You must use your CCSD ID # to complete the process.

All licensed educators who received nominations will be sent a link to accept or decline the nomination. A nominee must accept or decline the nomination upon receipt of the email notification. The deadline to accept or decline will be noon on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.

If a licensed staff member does not receive the link in their email, they can go directly to the SOT website www.changenv.org and click the button to nominate. You can also nominate, accept/decline, & vote directly on the SOT website.

Nominees who accept the nomination by the deadline will have their names appear in a box at the top of the ballot on Election Day. If an educator does not accept the nomination, their name will not appear in the box. However, all educators will be listed on the ballot, despite their names not appearing in the nomination box at the top of the ballot.

Licensed educators will be able to cast their vote during the election, which will begin at 6:00 am on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, and it will continue through 12:00 pm on Monday, September 14th, 2026. You must also use your CCSD ID # to complete this process.

In the event of a tie, a “Run-off” election will start on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, and end on Monday, September 21st, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

The results of the SOT election will start to be released in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026.
