The holidays can be especially complex for those struggling with an eating disorder.
Every year on Thanksgiving, I return to a grounding yoga practice that helps me prepare for the social complexities around food, family dynamics, and the emotions that come with the season.

This routine naturally boosts serotonin, healthily releases dopamine, and helps me reconnect with myself before the day begins. It’s my way of honoring my mental and physical health, giving myself compassion, and creating space to move through the holiday with intention.

If you’re navigating similar struggles, know that you’re not alone — and it’s okay to create the rituals you need to feel safe and supported. 💛🧘‍♀️🍂
