LOOKING for a FOSTER so we can help these two puppies. One male and one female. Look like shepherd mix. We don’t know much information about them a Good Samaritan tried to help a homeless person.

Supplies are provided by the rescue.

If you are interested in foster to adopt. The fee will be $350 and includes spay/neuter, 3 sets of vaccines, microchip, dewormer at one of our vet offices.

🖤 Meet Carsten 🖤

Carsten is a 6-year-old Cane Corso mix with a heart as big as he is. Originally adopted from Animal Network as a puppy, he recently found his way back to us after ending up at the shelter as a stray. We're so grateful he was able to be traced back to our rescue.

This handsome boy is a volunteer favorite! He's great on a leash, loves people, and never says no to a squeaky toy. While we're still learning more about how he does with other dogs, we do know he has plenty of love to give.

Right now, Carsten is living in boarding. He's safe and cared for, but what he really needs is a foster or forever home where he can finally relax and be part of a family.

🌟 Meet Kira! 🌟

This 6 year old 30 lb female Jack Russell mix is a bundle of energy with her rusty and white colors. Kira loves spending time in the yard. She likes to chase little critters.

She adores attention and enjoys curling up on people’s feet, making her the perfect little companion. Although she can be a bit nervous and may have some excitement accidents when meeting new friends, her sweet nature more than makes up for it! ❤️

Kira has completed training with Club K-9. She also does great in her crate, making her a well-rounded pup!

🐾 Meet Haku! 🐾

This handsome 8 year old 50 lb male Australian Shepherd has striking tri-color markings and a heart full of love. Whether he’s exploring the trails, splashing at the beach, or frolicking in the forest, Haku thrives outdoors. He’s also perfectly content lounging in the yard, soaking up the sunshine. ☀️

Haku adores butt rubs and has a sweet, playful personality. He loves being around people and will occasionally get a little jealous, playfully wedging himself in for attention! He’s great with all other life forms, making him the perfect companion. His friend Kira is also looking for a for an adopter or foster.

Haku has completed training with Club K-9, and does well in his crate. He’s a pro on car rides too! 🚗

🌟 **Exciting News About Zeus!** 🌟

We’re thrilled to announce that we were able to pull Zeus from the Animal Foundation after all! A fantastic foster stepped up just in time, and we can’t thank you all enough for your support. Sharing posts really makes a difference!

Initially, we were quite worried because not only did Zeus need a leg amputation, he had several objects in his stomach that looked like large pieces of bone’s. It truly took a village to get this big boy the help he needed. 🙏

After being placed on IV fluids for a couple of days, we’re happy to report that the bones passed, and he successfully had his surgery on Thursday. He’s doing well and is on the road to recovery!

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey. Your support means the world to us and to Zeus! ❤️🐾

The shelter paid for his amputation only. If anyone would like to contribute towards his hospitalization, we would be grateful.

🌡️🐾 Heat Stroke Can Turn Deadly in Minutes 🐾🌡️

As temperatures rise, our pets are at serious risk of heat stroke. Dogs don't cool themselves the way humans do, and even a short time in the heat can become an emergency.

🚨 Signs of Heat Stroke:
• Excessive panting
• Bright red gums or tongue
• Drooling
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Weakness or collapse
• Disorientation
• Seizures

☀️ Help Keep Your Dog Safe:
✅ Walk early in the morning or after sunset
✅ Always provide fresh water and shade
✅ Test pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds before walking
✅ Limit strenuous activity on hot days
✅ NEVER leave your dog in a parked car—even for a minute

If you suspect heat stroke, move your dog to a cool area immediately, offer small amounts of water, and seek veterinary care right away.
