I Am Not Defined by Fear

Fear feels defining. It whispers that you're powerless, unstable, or alone. But God didn’t give you a spirit of fear. He gave you power, love, and a sound mind. Those three things form your true identity in Christ. When fear rises, you don't have to let it name you.

Negative Thought:
"I'm afraid. I can't move forward."

Truth to Replace It:
God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Think About It:
What would you do today if fear didn't have a voice in your decision?

Most of us keep waiting to feel worthy enough to receive it. But grace was never a reward for the deserving. It's a gift, and the only thing a gift asks of you is that you take it. You can stop trying to qualify. What's kept you from simply receiving?
