As the Junior League of Las Vegas continues its 80th year of service, the organization stands at an exciting intersection of honoring its rich history and preparing for its future. As we celebrate this milestone, please join us in welcoming incoming President Kristen Vuckovic.

The League enters this new year following a remarkable milestone under the leadership of outgoing President Kristina Villardi. During her presidency, members celebrated 80 years of service, leadership, and impact in Southern Nevada. Her dedication, vision, and commitment helped strengthen the foundation upon which future leaders will continue to build.

The Junior League of Las Vegas also recognizes the extraordinary contributions of its Board of Directors, Management Team, committee chairs, committee members, and Sustainers. The League's success is never the result of one individual. It is the collective effort of hundreds of women who volunteer their time, talents, and hearts to advance our mission and strengthen our community.

As President Kristen Vuckovic begins her term, she does so with deep appreciation for the League's legacy and an exciting vision for the future. Her presidential theme, Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow, reflects a belief that leadership begins with a willingness to learn. Through volunteer service, leadership opportunities, trainings, mentorship, and meaningful connections, members develop the skills and confidence to create impact both within the League and throughout Southern Nevada.

This year also marks the arrival of more than 80 new members. Their energy, experiences, and perspectives bring tremendous opportunity for growth. Alongside returning members and Sustainers, they will help shape the next chapter of the Junior League of Las Vegas.

Members can look forward to beloved returning projects, new committee opportunities, leadership development initiatives, and meaningful community engagement. With a growing membership, the League is uniquely positioned to deepen relationships with existing community partners while exploring new opportunities to serve and collaborate throughout Las Vegas to serve our mission and focus area.

Like the city we call home, the Junior League of Las Vegas was built by individuals willing to make bold choices, embrace new ideas, and invest in the future. For more than eight decades, League members have stepped forward to address community needs, develop leaders, and create lasting change.

That spirit continues today.

As the League looks ahead, its commitment remains unchanged: developing women leaders and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. With gratitude for the past and excitement for the future, the women of the Junior League of Las Vegas are ready to learn, lead, and serve.

The next chapter begins now.

For 80 years, the Junior League of Las Vegas has been developing women leaders and creating lasting change in our community. This year, under the leadership of President Kristina Villardi, that legacy reached new heights.

During our milestone 80th Anniversary year, we welcomed nearly 80 new members, invested $80,000 in local classrooms through our Education Grants Program, awarded $80,000 in community grants to local nonprofit partners, committed $80,000 to community impact projects through Find the Good Day, and volunteered more than 17,000 hours in service to Southern Nevada.

As we close this historic chapter and welcome new leadership, we thank Kristina and our entire 2025-2026 Board of Directors for their dedication, passion, and service throughout this unforgettable year.

Here's to 80 years of impact—and to the bright future ahead for the Junior League of Las Vegas.

Big dreams and big goals💫

This week, our Summer Success Blueprint participants spent the day at the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center creating vision boards filled with their goals, inspirations, and hopes for the future. From career dreams to personal milestones, each board was a reminder of the power of believing in what’s possible.

We’re always grateful for our ongoing partnership with Shannon West and the opportunity to create meaningful experiences together for local youth. 💙

Celebrating a year of growth, leadership, service, and some truly incredible young women. ❤️🎓

This year’s LEADher class showed up for Southern Nevada. From collecting countless supplies for families supported by Olive Crest to presenting a $1,660 donation back to the community, you can tell they care so deeply about this community.

We’re also so proud to celebrate our graduating seniors receiving their LEADher stoles as they step into their next chapter, while cheering on the students continuing their journey in the program next year.

Know a high school young woman ready to build confidence, leadership skills, friendships, and real community impact? Applications for the 2026–2027 LEADher cohort are now open, send this their way. ✨

As we wind down the 2025–2026 League year, we asked our members to sum up their experience in five words or less.

The answers? Equal parts heartfelt, hilarious, inspiring, and very on brand for a group of women who somehow manage to lead, volunteer, network, and still make it to dinner after GMM.

Here’s to a year of growth, friendship, service, and memories we’ll be talking about long after this League year wraps. ❤️

A passing of the torch ✨

Recently, our current and incoming Management Teams came together for a transition meeting filled with strategic planning, big-picture conversations, shared knowledge, and plenty of excitement for what’s ahead.

From community impact to future goals, these conversations help ensure the Junior League of Las Vegas continues to grow, evolve, and serve Southern Nevada with purpose.

New ideas. Strong leadership. Same mission.

Because for many in our community, the challenges don’t change day to day.

Women and families across Southern Nevada are facing housing insecurity, food insecurity, and barriers to stability—and too often, those realities go unseen.

The Little Black Dress Initiative is about making those challenges visible. About choosing to show up, start conversations, and turn awareness into action.

We’re halfway through the week—but the need doesn’t stop here.

Donate today and be part of the impact. 🖤

15 individual ambassadors.
2 Group Ambassadors with our Board of Directors and Management Team
1 shared mission.
$15,000 goal.

This week, we’re wearing black to spark conversation and bring awareness to the challenges facing women and families in our community.

Through the Little Black Dress Initiative, your support helps fund programs and partnerships that make a real difference, including:

• Safe shelter for women and children
• Food access for families facing hunger
• Housing for families with children receiving medical care
• Educational experiences that inspire lifelong learning
• Support and resources for at-risk youth

Every dollar raised helps strengthen families and expand opportunity across Southern Nevada.

Follow along or donate if you can and help us turn one dress into meaningful impact.
