The Arkansas florist association is proud to welcome to the Arkansas cup competition,
Falyn Cordeiro CFD AAMF AMF
Falyn is the owner and lead floral designer at Falyn’s Flowers and Gifts, a full-service flower shop she opened in 2024. Her passion for florals began long before she ever opened her doors. Through agricultural education and FFA, she discovered floriculture and found a career path that combined my creativity, love of agriculture, and desire to serve others. What started in an FFA classroom eventually grew into a lifelong career in the floral industry.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in General Business from John Brown University, along with professional floral credentials as an Arkansas Master Florist (AMF), Advanced Arkansas Master Florist (AAMF), and Certified Floral Designer (CFD) and recently just passed her PFDE exam and will be inducted into the prestigious AIFD in St. Louis at the next symposium! She’s continually pursuing opportunities to grow as a designer and business owner while helping elevate the floral industry in Arkansas.
Outside of the shop, she proudly serve as Miss Rodeo Arkansas 2026, where she has had the opportunity to represent Arkansas agriculture, the western way of life, and the sport of professional rodeo across the country. Her life in the western industry and her career in floristry may seem like two different worlds, but to her, they are deeply connected—both are rooted in agriculture, creativity, hard work, tradition, and a love for people.
Falyn believes in blooming where you’re planted, working hard for what you love, and never forgetting the roots that got you there.
