KNOW BEFORE YOU SHOW!

We’re getting ready for fair season! Join 4H for their Know Before You Show classes and learn everything you need to know to get your animals — and yourself — show ready!

They will cover selection & housing, feed & supplements, training, and getting ready to show.

📍 Logandale Extension Office: Sept. 14, 21 & 28 | 5–6 PM

📍 Equine Center: Sept. 15, 22 & 29 | 5–6 PM
-Las Vegas

Each night will focus on a different species, with a wrap-up class to finish things off! This is a great opportunity to ask questions, learn from experienced people, and head into fair season feeling prepared.

Come learn, ask questions, have fun & GET SHOW READY!

We still have 25 Exhibitors that have not sent in their green delivery slips!! Please send those in so we can get you paid!! Next batch of checks will be wrote out tomorrow so if you have it, snap a picture of it and send it either to this page via chat and I’ll get it to them, or send it to the Treasurer directly ASAP!

If you submitted your green meat delivery slip, keep an eye on your mailbox this week. 📬

We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking loss of Carson Combs, a beloved son of one of our CCJLA families. Our hearts are with the Combs family during this incredibly difficult time. As a livestock community, we are more than just a group that competes together—we are a family, and we are grieving together in this difficult loss.

Carson’s mom has asked me to share this-
“Carson’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 13th at 10:00am at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W Lone Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89130. It will be televised via Zoom for those that cannot make it in person. I will post a link as soon as I have it.
The amount of love, support, texts, calls, and visits we’ve received has been TREMENDOUS and we are truly grateful. We have talked with counselors and are doing as well as can be expected. Please continue to pray for our family—we can feel it. 🙏🏼💗”
