More people than ever are just one crisis away from being at risk of losing their homes. Once the cycle of homelessness begins, it is difficult to get out of.
Homelessness is a complex issue requiring complex solutions. There are many differing opinions on this topic, however, we can all agree that what we have been doing is not working.

What does it mean to be homeless? The image most people think of when they hear that word is one of someone sleeping on a bus stop bench or pushing their belongings in a shopping cart. Homelessness is a much more complex issue however, and although individual cases have subtle variations, the issue of homelessness will require complex solutions to end it.

Today, more than ever before there is a shortage of low-income housing. As the gap between housing costs and income grows, more people are having to choose between food or shelter. More people than ever before are just one crisis away from not being able to afford both. At risk of entering the cycle of homelessness.

Haystack Agency is working with and through the community, to provide the most basic human need to those in need. Our mission is simple. No one goes hungry.
