Mến chào quí vị,

Lần trước tôi đã gặp thầy Keith Whitfield - hiệu trưởng trường UNLV và thầy đã nói về việc tạo ra các loại học bổng nhằm giúp tăng số lượng người dân có bằng đại học 4 năm ở UNLV.

Hôm qua tôi đã có update cho bước tiếp theo là sẽ gặp các thầy cô chuyên ngành khác ở trường UNLV và góp ý, đưa thông tin xem những sự giúp đỡ nào sẽ thu hút quí vị học lên đại học, ít nhất là bằng 4 năm, bao gồm cả sinh viên quốc tế.

Đây là bước khởi đầu cho những support tiếp theo của các tổ chức chính phủ, trường học... ở Nevada dành cho cộng đồng nói tiếng Việt. Xin ghi nhận sự đóng góp ý kiến của quý vị tại nút/link bên dưới.

Khi nhận biết được những vấn đề này, trong khả năng và thời gian cho phép, VNC sẽ có thể đưa đến và yêu cầu sự giúp đỡ của chính phủ hoặc các tổ chức liên quan cho cộng đồng của người Việt. Điều này cần thời gian (có thể tính bằng năm) nhưng nếu có nhiều người chung sức thì cộng đồng người Việt có thể được nhiều quyền lợi hơn hiện tại.

Our nonprofit would not be where it is today without Van Ploegman. As the co-founder of Viet Nevada Culture, Van embodies what this organization is all about: Kindness, resilience and ingenuity. Starting a nonprofit is no easy task, but Van never took "no" for an answer and employed her business and customer service background to get Viet NV Culture off the ground last year. She has wonderful connections and relationships with the Vietnamese American community in Nevada and California and because of that, she helped make our first Tet Lunar New Year celebration a great success! Thank you Van for all you do for our community!

How proud we are to have Assemblywoman Rochelle Nguyen be representing the AAPI Community in the State Assembly District 10. We are also so blessed to have this amazing woman and mom come to share her love for the Vietnamese community at our first annual Tet Lunar New Year Celebration this past weekend. We admire her dedication to the state of Nevada and especially for the growing number of Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders who call this state home. Thank you for all you for Viet Nevada Culture and for all of us in Nevada!

We met Patranya Bhoolsuwan at the Business of the Year Awards Luncheon of Vegas Chamber where both of us were nominated as the Emerging Business of the Year. We immediately knew that we want to work with her!
