Re: Event Cancelation

I regret to inform you that Marshall & Son’s Coalition is canceling our event “Youth Voice Matters” scheduled for April 18th, 2020 due to the COVID-19, which is spreading in mass numbers daily. Governor Reynolds has issued a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency activating the Public Health Response and Recovery aspects of the State Disaster Emergency Plan, stating that we are in a National Crisis and that no more than ten people are allowed to congregate.

I know event cancellations happen to the best of us. We have had upwards of 50 attendees reach out to us for support, all for this single event. We are intentional in handling a well-done cancellation in hopes to showcase the integrity of our organization.

In return, Marshall & Son’s Coalition is willing to help assist in battling the epidemic that is starting to claim lives around our community. We are collaborating with Eastside Family Foundation to combat this epidemic head on organizing a supply drive to help assist families with care packages, such as toiletries, diapers and wipes, food and water, sanitizer, gloves and masks, list of resources and activities, for our neighbors.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we look forward to greeting you at our next event.
