After much prayer and reflection, I have decided to take a Summer Sabbatical during the months of June, July, and August.

This season will be a time for me to refresh, replenish, recharge, and reset personally, spiritually, and creatively. As many of you know, The Heart of a Pastor Podcast has always been a labor of love and a place for authentic conversations, healing, encouragement, and ministry. In order to continue serving well, I recognize the importance of taking intentional time to pause and restore.

During this sabbatical, I will also be working through some important technical improvements for the podcast, including exploring a new platform and strengthening our internet and production capabilities to better serve our audience in the future.

While I will miss our weekly conversations, I truly believe this time away will allow me to return stronger, refreshed, and with greater clarity and vision for what’s ahead.

Thank you for your continued love, prayers, encouragement, and support. It means more than words can express. Please continue to revisit past episodes, stay connected through our pages, and most importantly—take care of your own heart and soul as well.

This is not goodbye… just a holy pause. 💛

What a meaningful journey this has been.

Over the past several weeks, we have walked through honest conversations about:
• Why the Church still matters
• God’s design for the Church
• Healthy church foundations
• Discernment and spiritual growth
• Red flags and practical wisdom for finding a healthy church home

And this Friday… we bring this powerful series to a close with Week 6: Healing & Becoming a Healthy Member.

Because church health is not only about finding the right church…

It is also about allowing God to continue healing, growing, and transforming us.

� This final session will focus on:
• Healing from disappointment and spiritual discouragement
• Re-engaging with healthy community
• Growing in spiritual maturity
• Becoming a healthy and life-giving part of the Body of Christ

This series has come from a very personal place in my heart, and I truly believe these conversations are needed in this season.
