HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR Ronald Doc Myerslllll

My Black History Tribute today,

this Last 28th day

DOC WAS BORN IN 29TH LEAP YEAR in Feb,

the Gov proclaimed this as a Black History month.

EVERY EXISTED AMERICAN DAY IS A BLACK HISTORY DAY!!

Dr Myers was a Minister, physician & jazz musician! Human, Civil, Pain Patient and Juneteenth Advocate for Justice!

Not many people are born on leap year but those that were did some extraordinary things.

Dr Myers was born on Leap year Feb 29th RIP DOC!!!

I LOVE U AND MISS U!!

A great man who has made an amazing and important awakening in my life and my spirit, meeting him and learning about Juneteenth changed my life and way of thinking as Black Woman.

I begin to search the true meaning for my existence today and the true history of my ancestors.

I got the Juneteenth bug from Dr Myers in Itta Bena Mississippi in 2014 and I did my small part by sharing my inspiration to search for and share Knowledge about the Emancipation from Slavery.

“ BLACK FOLKS INDEPENDENCE DAY!”

I promoted and executed a Juneteenth Holiday Celebration in the park for 5 years in a ROW!! in Itta Bena Ms.

I had some very interesting struggles trying to get support but I believe JUNETEENTH overcame ANYWAY!!!!!!

People came from many state and miles around Mississippi to help me make Juneteenth a Success,

I thank all the Wonderful People that stepped up to help me Make the Itta Bena Juneteenth an AWARENESS THE PEOPLE IN THE DELTA WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I truly can’t see how any African American can say with a straight face that he does not appreciate the sacrifices Our Ancestors endured for him/her this day.

To honor Juneteenth is to accept your Heritage.

Thank you Dr Ronald Doc Myers Your legacy will forever be remembered

Many did not understand her but this is what makes her A QUEEN!!
WITHOUT WARRIORS LIKE HER,

YOU AND ME WOULD STILL BE IN THESE SHACKLES I HOLD HERE IN MY HAND!! these are original SLAVE shackles,

Thank you DR Nancy Dawson for sharing them with me!!
My Life Changed the day I held these SHACKLES in my hands Knowing my ancestors were locked and whipped and chained in these SHACKLES.

THE FIGHT AND THE STRUGGLES STILL LIVES TODAY MY FRIENDS AND IT IS UP TO YOU TO STOP HATING AND JUDGING ME FOR MY MISTAKES AND STEP UP AND DO YOUR PART.

EVERYONE HAS A CROSS TO BEAR!!!
