We feel that there’s a lot of confusion and miscommunication on what’s going on. On behalf of March For Peace, we are asking Metro to come have a open discussion panel with us. This event is for everyone’s to speak and hear each other’s voices. I know many do not care to hear this, but some of us would like to communicate on matters currently infront of us and how reforms can be made. We are not attempting to hush the voices of any other organizations. HOWEVER we are still holding a vigil for the lost lives as well as having people speak about the situation at large. Unfortunately we were asked to remove “BLM” from our page to ease any future conflicts or confusion. We still demand justice to be served! We all have the rights to protest the way we’d like for the communities, to demonize another black organization for justice and peace isn’t the way. We sincerely apologize if we may have stepped on any toes during the process!
