This month, we recognize three important health awareness campaigns:
💉 Immunization Awareness Month
Protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community by staying informed about recommended vaccinations. Prevention is one of the most powerful forms of healthcare.
🫁 Lung Cancer Awareness Month
Every breath is precious. Join us in raising awareness about the importance of early detection, risk reduction, research, and supporting those whose lives have been impacted by lung cancer.
🤱 Breastfeeding Awareness Month
Breastfeeding provides lifelong health benefits for both babies and parents. Let's celebrate, support, and encourage families on their feeding journey without judgment.

We exceeded our goal of 4 families and we couldn't be more grateful.

Today we celebrate the beauty, strength, and importance of friendship in all its forms.
From Gamma Pi Rho Lupus Sorority, Inc. and the Advocacy & Awareness Department, we recognize that friends play an integral role in shaping who we are and how we move through life. From our earliest stages as infants and toddlers learning communication and connection, through school years, adulthood, work life, and even advocacy spaces—friendship is the thread that helps hold so much together.
True friends help us grow, support us through challenges, celebrate our victories, and remind us that we are never walking alone. They are not always easy to come by, which is why the ones we do have are deeply cherished and valued.
Today is a reminder to pause and say:
💜 Thank you for being a friend.
💜 Thank you for showing up.
💜 Thank you for staying.
And just as importantly, take a moment to recognize and appreciate the friends in your own life. Let them know they are seen, valued, and loved.

From Gamma Pi Rho Disability Incorporated and the Advocacy & Awareness Department, we extend our gratitude to all who continue to honor, support, and uplift the disability community—not just today, but every day.
We also thank those who take the time to assist, advocate, and stand alongside us in our daily lives. Your awareness and compassion make a meaningful difference.
