A siren is supposed to mean run to safety.

But on October 7, for many young Israelis fleeing the Nova music festival, even the bomb shelters meant to protect them became places of death.

MTF National Spokesperson Taryn Thomas reflects on footage of herself lying on the ground during a rocket attack in Israel, after she and fellow participants could not reach a shelter in time. She explains why, for Israelis remembering October 7, the sound of a siren can almost feel like the “good part,” because that day, so many people never had the chance to reach safety.

At Nova and nearby shelters, Hamas terrorists used automatic weapons, grenades, and RPGs against young people who were simply trying to survive. International investigators documented militants attacking shelters with grenades and machine-gun fire, including one shelter where an RPG was also used.

The places people ran to for protection became killing grounds.

Three years later, we must continue to remember what happened.

We must continue to remember the young lives stolen while they were desperately searching for somewhere safe.

Israel has found a powerful way to honor Captain Smit Machchhar: his face now stands on a massive billboard at Ad Halom, with a simple message written in both Hebrew and Hindi - “Thank you, hero. 🇮🇳🇮🇱”

After being seriously wounded during the attack aboard Flydubai FZ1073, Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door, allowing passengers and crew to intervene and helping avert a far greater tragedy.

His courage saved lives, and Israelis won’t soon forget his courage. Thank you, Captain Smit. India has a hero, and Israel will always remember his name. 🇮🇳🇮🇱

Almost three years after October 7, the Idan family has released the heartbreaking emergency call made by Michael, 9, and Amalia, 6, after their parents, Roy and Smadar, were murdered in Kfar Aza.

Their younger sister, Avigail, was just three years old when she was abducted to Gaza.

These were children calling the police because they had been left alone after Hamas terrorists murdered their parents.

The unimaginable reality of October 7th is still impossible to comprehend for some whose lives will never be the same.

New details from the investigation into Flydubai FZ1073 are deeply disturbing.

According to The Jerusalem Post, investigators say co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami researched airlines operating routes to Tel Aviv and allegedly planned the attack before he was even hired by Flydubai. He allegedly intended to kill Captain Smit Machchhar, take control of the aircraft, and crash it into a Tel Aviv skyscraper or Ben Gurion Airport.

The plan was reportedly designed to avoid detection until it was too late.

Instead, Captain Machchhar fought back and opened the cockpit door, giving Israeli passengers and other crew members the opportunity to intervene and stop the attack.

Almost years after Hamas’s October 7 massacre, the people murdered that day are being remembered across the heart of New York City. Their photographs fill Times Square as a reminder that every victim had a face, a family, a story, and a life. They weren’t just statistics in a geopolitical conflict.

More than 1,200 people were murdered and more than 250 were taken hostage into Gaza.

May their memories always be blessed. 🕯️

Three years after the October 7 massacre, a planned “pro-Palestine” march is set to take place in Britain on the anniversary itself.

On GB News, Nana Akua challenged political commentator Ben Smoke over the timing, arguing that holding such a demonstration on the anniversary of Hamas’ massacre shows a lack of compassion for the victims and their families.

Smoke responded by accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza. Akua pushed back, questioning the use of that label and pointing out that the legal question of genocide remains contested internationally. The ICJ has not issued a final judgment determining that genocide occurred.

Three years on, October 7 should not be erased, minimized, or pushed aside. The anniversary of the attack should be set aside to remember the 1,200 people murdered by Hamas, and the hostages whose lives were shattered that day.

New reporting by CNN has uncovered a disturbing digital trail connected to Flydubai FZ1073 suspect Hamam al-Hammami.

Two posts appeared on LinkedIn and Instagram accounts bearing his name roughly nine hours after the attack. One included footage of Israeli aircraft and ended with images of former Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri and an Al-Qaeda-linked su***de bomber. Another featured Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem alongside a poem about rejecting humiliation and not fearing death.

CNN also analyzed a now-deleted X account linked to al-Hammami, which contained misogynistic posts about women and mixed-gender workplaces. It remains unknown who published the posts or whether they had been scheduled in advance.

These revelations add another disturbing layer to an incident already under investigation as a likely terrorist act.

A new report reveals a terrifying failure to vet Flydubai FZ1073 co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami, the man accused of a terrorist attack against the Captain of the flight.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Omani authorities had previously banned Hamam al-Hammami from flying over concerns about his radical ideological views. Despite the ban, Flydubai later hired him and assigned him to the Dubai–Tel Aviv route.

How did someone deemed unfit to fly for his home country’s airline make it back into the cockpit in the UAE, a country with notoriously rigorous security measures?

The heroic actions of Captain Smit Machchhar, passengers, and crew prevented a catastrophe, but aviation security systems must ensure that serious warnings about extremist ideologies follow individuals across borders. Warnings only matter if they’re shared across companies and acted upon accordingly.

Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door, allowing passengers and crew to intervene and ultimately helping bring the aircraft safely to the ground.

The moment between the two men is a powerful reminder of the human courage behind this story.

Captain Machchhar risked his own life to protect the innocent people entrusted to him.

A federal indictment has exposed an alleged international fundraising network accused of channeling more than $1.7 million to Hamas under the guise of humanitarian aid for Gaza.

Alleged Hamas member Saleem Alzaq was indicted in New York on charges including conspiring to provide material support to Hamas, money laundering, and sanctions violations. Prosecutors allege he helped operate the fundraising network while in Gaza.

Two Louisiana brothers, Abdel and Omar Adhami, were arrested last month and charged with allegedly helping raise and transfer funds to Alzaq.

Investigators say the brothers used social media to solicit donations and allegedly used coded language to conceal transfers to Hamas. At least $626,000 was raised from U.S.-based donors, according to prosecutors.

Humanitarian aid channels should never become pipelines for financing terrorism.

The investigation is a stark reminder that Hamas fundraising networks can operate internationally and covertly, and that financial support for terrorism can hide behind the language of humanitarian assistance.
