From Juan & Nicole, the founders of this very special passion project non-profit organization:

We have taken all the steps to be an IRs recognized charity and this we are here to ask for our supporters to show your beleif in our mission through giving to make what can become a jewel for my community become reality. AS THE FOUNDERS, WE HAVE DECIDED TO MATCH ALL DONATIONS! We are hopeful to make available a place where multi-gen members of our organization can engage with various program offerings in the way that fits their unique identities so that 🔑 roots are being preserved and nurtured and parents or individuals can instill, in themselves or their children, as a piece of . 🔑

Identidad Foundation will be a fun and convenient way to ensure that kids grow up with their heritage language and culture, that communication gaps are closed between generations and that any types of supports necessary to parents to accomplish this goal are provided. Community events and group travel are a part of the vision as well.

As founders, we beleive that what is good for our family is good for many many families and we will make sure that's the unique & tailored programing that are in Identidad's plans are delivered by highly capable and happy employees. This is just a brief intro to our plans and of this start up non-profit. On Veteran's day it is important for us to reflect on the sacrifices every veteran makes and how most days we take their service for granted. Veterans day is a day we can dedicate to foster gratitude in our hearts. Care for and support the veterans in your life because we can say with confidence that their military service expands into so many factors of our daily life and that is the least of what we can do with gratitude in our heart to show them their sacrifice reached us. This is my dad. Retired USAF. His service, his dad's service and the current and past service of our extended family along with both of my WWII veteran grandfathers' service is most definitely a part of my roots and heritage and has a piece of my identity in a lot of the same ways as my ethnic heritage does. Thank you for your service !

Hello! Please meet some of the faces behind Identidad Foundation. The Día de los Mu***os event where we met most of you was our very first event as a new non profit organization. As such, the wonderful people you may have met as volunteers were our supportive family and friends who want to see Identidad going full force and succeeding at our mission. Having such a tight family has made it that much easier to launch since there's a net of support. I hope you enjoyed talking with them. More pics to come but with this post, I will introduce my husband, my daughter and myself as 3/5 of Identidad's founding family. Wish us luck!
