This is gonna be a good Monday! After being hospitalized for several days with severe pancreatitis, Pippa started eating! She gets to leave this afternoon and be pampered by a new foster!

And the update on Winston is also good! He was taken off all IV meds and is now on oral meds! His wound is slowly healing and the expectation is he will stay for another 2 weeks getting laser and hydrotherapy!

It’s $5.00 Friday and we’ve got news - some good, some bad and some just news! Our very precious 14 year old, 5 pound Pippa, was in a foster to adopt situation and the potential adopter felt this little old lady could just eat whatever and is now hospitalized fighting for her life with an extreme case of pancreatitis and we can only pray she gets through this….13 year old ChaChaCha’s labs came back really good and she’s proceeding to spay and one tooth cleaned or removed on Tuesday….Winston is hanging in there, still a lot of pain even with all the meds he’s taking, he’ll be hospitalized another 3-4 weeks and the good news is that our very famous Butch, soon to be renamed Gizmo, is proceeding to adoption finalization! Good job Butch Gizmo! We are thankful for all of you! Ways to donate:

Winston! Our hearts hurt for this little man and we also know we have to hurt him to heal him….he’s being a trooper though! He’s currently spending 24/7 at Park Animal Hospital undergoing treatment. He’s receiving IV antibiotics and pain meds to manage his pain and he’s still in pain….he’s receiving hydrotherapy and laser treatments and he’ll be hospitalized for another 3-4 weeks. The vet staff absolutely loves him - he’s very sweet through the pain and we know that he will recover! He looks so much better and it’s only been a few days…you can imagine the vet costs that he’s incurring and it’s worth it to us! We can’t wait to see the real Winston, healed and pain free. We will continue to update, you can follow his recovery. We thank you for all of your support, whether from donations, shares, kind words or prayers - right now Winston needs all of that!❤️🐾❤️

A big welcome to Cha Cha Cha! We picked this cutie girl up from the shelter a few minutes ago and what a happy little 13 year, 5 pound, social butterfly she is. She will need all intake services, complete examination, senior labs, f***l, a**l glands expressed, surgery to include a spay…it appears she has one tooth and it looks pretty nasty so we will address that as well. We also need a foster for Cha Cha Cha. If you’d like to be considered to foster this very mellow little girl, please complete the application below….understand the fostering opportunity is a committment to see her through her surgery and all vetting. Our fosters get first choice in adopting the dog in their care.

AARF HAS ACCEPTED A MAJOR CASE THIS IS A 911 ALL HANDS-ON DECK POST. WE NEED YOU!!

AARF accepted this tiny little 1yr fella who is alive by the grace of all that is mighty! He has suffered unfathomable abuse and pain in his short life. These pictures are hard to look at and will bring tears to your eyes. We named him Winston and made a promise that no one will ever hurt him again. We promised him every comfort and hope for a good life.

These wounds are infected, deep, and may cause permanent scarring. This is no accident.

Winston will require intense aggressive wound care, pain management, antibiotics, and surgeries.
