Exciting things are happening as the vision for Rey Feo Laredo continues to become a reality! What began as a partnership to expand educational opportunities across South Texas is now growing into a movement dedicated to empowering students, strengthening communities, and preserving the rich traditions that make our region so special.

The Rey Feo Laredo Foundation is working to bring scholarship opportunities, leadership development, mentorship, and community service initiatives to Webb County and surrounding areas, creating new pathways for students pursuing both college degrees and skilled trades. Plans are already underway to establish a Laredo Royal Court, carrying forward the values of service, cultural pride, and educational excellence that have defined the Rey Feo legacy for generations. For the first time ever, Laredo will crown its own Rey Feo, Reina Linda, and La Reina De La Feria De Las Flores as part of the official launch of the Rey Feo Laredo Foundation.

Led by the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation of San Antonio, this new nonprofit initiative will serve students across Webb County and surrounding areas through traditional education and skilled trade pathways—expanding scholarships, leadership development, community service, and workforce readiness opportunities in South Texas.

Beginning in 2027, Laredo’s royal court will represent unity, cultural pride, and a commitment to service—empowering the next generation through mentorship and education.

With scholarships awarding $4,000 per year for college and $1,000 per year for trade school, the mission continues: passing the torch of knowledge and building a stronger, more equitable future for our communities.
