🌟 BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS 🌟

This morning, Webb County LULAC Council #22387 proudly hosted the first General Organization Meeting of the Webb County LULAC Youth Council, marking an important new chapter in our continued commitment to youth leadership, education, community service, and civic engagement.

As the official sponsoring LULAC Council, we are proud to provide our young members with an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, become more involved in their community, build meaningful connections, and learn firsthand the importance of service and advocacy.

During this morning’s meeting, students learned more about LULAC, the purpose and structure of a Youth Council, upcoming activities and initiatives, and the opportunities they will have to help shape the future of their organization.

Most importantly, today was about giving our youth a seat at the table and empowering them to use their voices.

For Webb County LULAC, investing in young people has always been at the heart of our mission. Through our educational, scholarship, recognition, and leadership initiatives, we remain committed to creating opportunities that encourage students to dream bigger, serve others, and become tomorrow’s community leaders.

We extend our appreciation to every student who participated, as well as the parents, volunteers, members, and supporters who continue to make opportunities like this possible.

The Webb County LULAC Youth Council is empowering high school students through leadership development, community service, mentorship, public speaking, civic engagement, scholarships, and educational opportunities that prepare them to become tomorrow's leaders.

We're inviting local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to become official T-Shirt Sponsors for the 2026–2027 Youth Council year!

✅ Place your business logo on 150+ official Youth Council shirts

✅ Give your organization visibility at community service projects, leadership events, volunteer activities, and educational programs throughout Laredo and Webb County** from **August 2026 through July 2027

This evening we will have the honor of celebrating some of the brightest young minds in our community as we recognize the April 2026 Webb County LULAC 8th Grade Scholars of the Month.

Each of these students represents excellence, not only in the classroom, but in leadership, character, and commitment to their future. They are a reflection of the strength of our schools, the support of their families, and the promise of our community.
