In the midday hours of Tuesday, June 2nd, contractors entered private property in San Ygnacio, TX — without a right of entry, or condemnation procedures in place — to begin bulldozing and clearing the path for border wall construction.
Locals confronted contractors and border patrol in the area for trespassing, without any transparency or answers on the illegal action.

After months of organizing, we’re headed to the Texas Capitol to send a clear message: TEXAS SAYS NO BORDER WALL.

Communities from Laredo, the Rio Grande Valley, Eagle Pass, Big Bend, Houston, and across Texas are coming together to demand a future rooted in dignity, safety, environmental justice, and real investment in our people, not more border wall expansion.

This is more than a rally. It’s a reminder that the people most impacted are still here, still organizing, and still fighting for our river, our communities, and our future.

TEXAS, WE ARE STILL SHOWING UP🔥🔥

Join us on Tuesday, May 19th at the South Steps of the Texas Capitol for the Texas Says No Border Wall press conference and rally.

Communities from across Texas are coming together to speak out against border wall expansion, flooding risks, environmental harm, and the continued militarization of our border communities.

REMINDER: We are coordinating LIMITED round-trip transportation from Laredo to Austin to make sure our community is represented at the Capitol. Food + water will be provided.

We need border communities, students, organizers, families, and advocates in the building. Texas deserves better.
