Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson is hiring Summer Camp staff! We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible and energetic individuals for a variety of summer positions including: Counselors, Unit Leaders, Aquatic Staff, Adventure Specialists, and Nature Specialists. Training will be provided for Aquatics and Adventure Specialist positions. Military Tribute Banners are coming to Mamaroneck! If you live in the Village of Mamaroneck, you can honor any deceased veteran or for those who don't live in the Village, you can sponsor a banner for a deceased veteran who once lived in the village. Banners will be displayed on telephone poles in the VOM from Memorial Day to after Veterans Day and then stored until they are rehung the following Memorial Day. Giving Honor to Whom Honor is Due

Yesterday we delivered 12 monthly activity boxes to the Community Resource Center! Each filled with craft supplies, puzzles, books and activities geared to that month. We hope the children of the CRC enjoy these supplies all year! Thank you to all of our troops who helped fill the boxes! Welcome back to your new home, CRC!

And the winner is.....The Girl Scouts of Larchmont Mamaroneck! In the Gingerbread Dream House Contest, we won both the 1st place judges prize of $600 and we got the most community votes so we also got the 3rd place $150 prize!! Way to go Girl Scouts!! I'm so proud of everyone who worked on the house! And thank you to Pietro Catizone from Catizone Engineering who was an amazing coach! Thank you also to the Larchmont Chamber, Chase Bank and Julia B Fee Sotheby's.

Please come on out and vote for our Girl Scout gingerbread house! Friday 12/5 from 11-4 and Sat. 12/6 from 10-1 at Julia B Fee Sotheby's! Thanks to the Larchmont Chamber 10538 for coordinating this fun contest and to Peter Catizone from Catizone Engineering, P.C. who was our coach! Our house was designed, built and decorated by girls from three troops representing the Girl Scouts of Larchmont Mamaroneck and is a tribute to our very own Girl Scout House on Harmon Drive! The girls utilized a variety of Girl Scout products (cookies and candy) and embraced our tradition and love of s'mores. Stop by and see all of the great houses! So much creativity in our community!
