It’s that time of year again! Many of our lovely volunteers are home for their summer which means MSER is looking for dedicated volunteers to help!

🐴 Duties may include:
✅ Cleaning stalls
✅ Feeding and Grooming
✅ Socializing with the horses
✅ Helping with events and fundraising

Oh, Stella!

We are happy to share that Stella has been adopted to a wonderful home in Colorado. The place she gets to call home is a fellow nonprofit farm dedicated to connecting people with agriculture, nature, and livestock to improve mental and physical health. Their equine assisted programs camps, youth programs, trail riding + outdoor education, horsemanship and companionship-based learning!

It’s bittersweet, and we will miss this spunky girl so much, but we cannot wait to see all of the cool things she’ll get up to.

✨ Milestone alert: The Boys Have Moved In! 🏡✨

We have some exciting news (mostly to us, lol)

If you’ve been following along, you know that re-teaching Little Boy and Sundance to accept the halter has been, let’s say, a “masterclass in patience.” 😅 - both geldings at one point in time had these skills, but then spent about 10+ years on pasture with very little handling.

There have been moments where we wondered if this moment would come. And, here we are!

Both Little Boy and Sundance have settled into their stalls pretty well, and each hopefully will begin to make friends with their new neighbors!

We are two for two on successful adoptions from the Right Horse program this semester! 🥹 Popeye also found a new home in an equine therapy program in Colorado! We know Popeye will do beautifully there and be dearly loved by all that come to know him! Please give your best wishes to Popeye as he embarks on his new journey!
