🌟 Every once in a while, you ought to give yourself permission to step out of the ordinary world for an evening – this Halloween seems as good a time as any.

For 40 years, Labyrinth has invited generations of dreamers into a world of goblins, impossible staircases, strange companions, magnificent hair, and one very questionable pair of trousers. Beneath all that glorious weirdness is a story about transformation, finding courage, discovering who your friends are, and realizing that growing up doesn't mean surrendering your sense of wonder. And maybe that's why we're all still wandering into the maze four decades later…

🎃 On Halloween night, Jackalope Cult Cinema and the Gryphon Theatre invite you to The Goblin King's Masquerade Ball, an evening of fantasy, film, live music, costumes, dancing, strange creatures, beautiful people, questionable decisions, and whatever other magic manages to sneak through the doors.

Break out the velvet. The masks. The horns. The wings. The capes you've been waiting your entire adult life to have a legitimate reason to wear. Come high-fantasy formal, come as your favorite creature, come gloriously overdressed, or just come wearing something that makes you feel a little more magical than you did when you woke up that morning.

We'll gather together to watch Labyrinth the way it deserves to be seen, on the big screen, surrounded by fellow dreamers. When the credits roll, the event is far from over. The screen rises, the music begins, and we dance the night away with Frogboat!

Because there are plenty of ways to spend Halloween. But there's only one Goblin King’s Masquerade Ball.

📽️ Forty years ago, Labyrinth reminded us that the world can be stranger, more beautiful, and more magical than it first appears. On Halloween night, we're going to see if we can prove it. Don your finest, gather your companions, and join us for a night that won’t soon be lost to memory.

October 31st • 5-10PM • Film Screening & Live Music
✨ $20 presale tickets
✨ $25 at the door

Our Fringe team is still reflecting on the big weekend from this August, reporting back to our funders, and making notes from what we learned. It would seem we're doing this again next year! ☝️ BUT we need help.

Scroll through the graphics below to see some snapshots from Laramie's first Fringe weekend, and let us know if you think you could help lend a hand.

Event planning for Fringe 2027 will start early in the new year, with artist applications opening in mid-February. If you'd like to be on the list to learn about how to be involved in planning, comment below. We'd love your input (and funds, if you have them too!).
