LaPorte County 4-H Horse and Pony Club LaPorte County 4-H EZ Riders is a large club of nearly 200 area youth. The goal of 4-H is to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility.

The goal of the club is to teach them about care of horses while also focusing on the importance of 4-H.

Reminder October Meeting and Fall Activities tomorrow night at 6:00 at the horse and pony arena! Horses Welcome for fun games and night ride around the fairgrounds! You must be a current 4-H Horse and Pony member or Horseless Horse member from the 2026 year to participate. Don’t forget boots, jeans, and helmets! Costumes I encouraged!

Grace and Cheyenne showed at the State Fair yesterday for English & Jumping! They placed in all 4 classes they competed in. They earned:

4th in Hunter Under Saddle
4th in Hunter over Fences 2’.
2nd in Equitation over Fences (went into a jump off).
2nd in Hunter Hack.

Another one of our fantastic competitors, Tori and Bentley!!!! They had some smooth sailing runs competing against over 50 riders in the SR division! They placed 8th in Speed & Action! Awesome rides to boot!
