Well is over now and we are back in action. For the last 2 weeks we have been filling Boxes as we were in the area. From LaPorte County all the way to Union Pier. Some we even restocked and I still have a few boxes of extra books. If you have any ideas of what we can do with these books please drop them below and we’d be happy to do what we can with them. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated books to our book drive and to Rassel Family Chiropractic , Flying Nimbus, LLC , and WK Hair Studio for acting as a collection site! I’ll be spending the weekend going through the books and to drop them off to Sand Castle Shelter for Homeless Families, Michigan City, Indiana. I have already dropped off some to Healthy Families, Dunebrook. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! This was our first book drive and we believe it turned out quite nicely. ❤️📚

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend 🦃❤️

An update on our Book Drive: We are all set on the used books BUT we are still accepting BRAND NEW CHILDRENS books. These new children’s books will be going to Healthy Families, Dunebrook

WE ARE ALSO STILL LOOKING FOR A SPONSOR FOR THE CROCHET KIT PICTURED BELOW (about $60) that will be going to an underprivileged teen learning to crochet. 🧶
This is a creative skill that would allow her the opportunity to make her own money.

Our Moms group is made up of so many different types of women and that is what makes our group so special. All moms are welcome who have kiddos of any age. You get companionship, play dates and so much more for $15 a year!

Today’s the day! Our 1st book drive starts and will end Dec 6th.

🫶We are very excited to be giving brand new children’s books (0-5 yrs old) to Healthy Families, Dunebrook

And

🫶New or very gently used books (baby to adult) to the families getting back on their feet at Sand Castle Shelter for Homeless Families, Michigan City, Indiana

👉We have a drop box located inside Rassel Family Chiropractic.

👉We now have a box inside WK Hair Studio.

👉Flying Nimbus, LLC will be collecting from anyone willing to donate that uses their services during the book drive.

👉I am working on trying to get a box in 711, & Kabliens . I’ll keep you updated.

👉You can always message me to arrange something as well.

📚We have created a list on Amazon for the new books for those that would rather just order something and have it sent directly to us.
