At Saving Grace Animal Rescue and Sanctuary Inc.

our primary goal is to bring awareness to the profound link between animal abuse and neglect and child abuse, as research consistently shows that these forms of maltreatment often coexist within families. By fostering a deeper understanding of this correlation, we strive to break the cycle of violence and promote healthier environments for both children and animals. Additionally, we are dedicated to alleviating the strain on overpopulated animal shelters by providing compassionate care, rehabilitation, and finding loving forever homes for abandoned and forgotten animals. Through our adoption programs and responsible pet ownership initiatives, we aim to reduce the number of animals in shelters, ensuring they have the opportunity to live fulfilling lives with caring families. Our work extends beyond rescue and rehoming animals. We recognize the therapeutic benefits of the human-animal bond and actively promote animal-assisted interventions and therapy. By partnering with mental health professionals, educators, and community organizations, we seek to harness the healing power of animals to support the emotional well-being and resilience of children who have experienced trauma or neglect. Through collaborative efforts, community engagement, and ongoing research, we strive to raise awareness about the impact animal abuse and neglect on both human and animal lives. By addressing these intertwined issues, we envision a future where every child and animal can thrive in safe and nurturing environments. We need loving foster homes for cats who need a safe place to land. Fosters should be able to commit to approximately 3–6 months.

We have friendly, affectionate cats as well as shy, independent ones—there may be a perfect fit for you! No experience is needed, just patience and a little space.

All supplies are provided. Fostering one cat can save a life!

🐾 Kitty Kitty Meow Meow needs a home! 🐾

He’s tired of defending his territory and not being able to really connect with a human. He is such a lovable and sweet boy.

We actually thought he was a she when we first found him late one night on a country road in LaPorte. He was severely matted and had these crows that could probably be heard a mile away 😂 He is still very vocal, but now he mostly just crows for attention, which he probably doesn’t get enough of.

He would be best with a retiree or someone who has a slower lifestyle. He is such a chill cat. He’s also a cuddler and will literally sleep right on your pillow with you the entire night. ❤️

He’s not needy at all and is perfectly happy hanging out by himself all day. He just wants someone to love him and give him a place to call home.

He’s no more than 2 years old and is SO deserving of a loving home.

Please help me find this sweet boy his person. ❤️🐾

Meet Grace and Her Beautiful Kittens!

Grace is a young mama who has done an incredible job raising her six kittens. She is a gentle, sweet girl who is still a bit timid around people, but her loving nature shines through. Grace was an attentive, devoted mother, caring for her babies every step of the way and successfully weaning them when they were ready. Now it’s her turn to find a patient, loving home where she can continue to build her confidence.

Sage (Male) – Sage is an absolute sweetheart with a calm, laid-back personality. He is gentle, cuddly, and loves affection. His easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion, and he would thrive in a home with another kitten.

Journey (Male) – Journey is another sweet, laid-back boy who has a playful side. He loves to explore and play but also enjoys cuddles. He would do wonderfully with another kitten to continue building his confidence and keep him entertained.

Phoenix (Male) – You’ll recognize Phoenix by the adorable little black spot on his nose. He’s a very sweet boy who continues to come out of his shell every day. He has a relaxed personality and enjoys spending time with his people.

River (Male) – River is Journey’s twin and shares his loving personality. He’s becoming more confident each day and has started following his foster mom around the house. He’s affectionate, gentle, and loves being part of the action.

Hope (Female) – Hope is the black-and-white beauty of the group. She is incredibly loving with a fun, spunky personality. She is always chasing toys, especially balls, and keeps everyone entertained with her playful spirit.

Harmony (Female) – Harmony is the gray-and-white adventurer. She is curious, fearless, and always looking for her next adventure. Whether she’s climbing the curtains or investigating something new, she brings endless entertainment and personality wherever she goes.

All of these kittens are incredibly loving, happy, and well-socialized. They have been raised with plenty of human interaction, enjoy being handled and cuddled, love other cats, and are well acclimated to dogs. They spend their days purring, playing, exploring, and soaking up affection.

Whether you’re looking for one playful companion or considering adopting a pair, these kittens are ready to fill your home with love, purrs, and endless joy. Momma Grace deserves a forever home too, where she can finally be the one receiving all the love and care she so selflessly gave to her babies.
