Hi everyone 🤍

We understand that there are concerns being shared regarding the cancellation of the Mother’s Day Market, and we want to take a moment to address this clearly.

The event was officially canceled on April 7th after we explored possible options to still make it happen following unexpected circumstances. Once cancellation was finalized, all confirmed vendors were notified directly, and refunds began being processed.

Some vendors have already been refunded, and the remaining refunds are actively being completed. With a large number of vendors involved, this process is being handled in batches and is taking a bit of time, but it is being worked through and not being ignored.

There has been a significant amount of misinformation shared publicly. We will not be addressing individual vendor situations in comment threads out of respect for privacy and accuracy.

If you are a confirmed vendor and have questions about your specific refund, please contact us directly so we can assist you. That is the fastest and most appropriate way to get accurate information regarding your situation.

We are continuing to handle this responsibly and appreciate the patience of those who have allowed us the time to do so.

💙 A Sweet Moment from Today’s Autism Awareness Walk 💙

We had the kindest surprise this morning at our walk 🥹

A local Lapeer police officer stopped by to say hello and handed out blue bracelets to the kids to show support for Autism Awareness 💙

It was such a simple gesture, but it meant so much to our mamas and littles- especially on a day that’s all about inclusion, kindness, and community 🥰

Moments like this are what Lapeer Moms & Minis is all about 🥹💞

If anyone knows who this officer is, we’d love to properly thank him!! 💙

✨ PUBLIC NOTICE: Mother’s Day Market Update ✨

Hi mamas & vendors 💞

We wanted to share an official update regarding our Lapeer Moms & Minis Mother’s Day Market.

After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the event. This was not an easy decision for our team, and we know many of you were looking forward to this. We truly appreciate the excitement and support that surrounded it 🥹

All vendors were contacted via email with more detailed information early last week.
If you were an approved vendor and have not seen this, please be sure to check your inbox and spam/junk folders.

To keep things clear and fair for everyone:

• Refunds will only be issued to vendors who were active and confirmed at the time of the event cancellation last week.
• Vendors who chose to withdraw prior to the official cancellation will not be eligible for a refund.

For any questions regarding refunds or vendor specific concerns, please reach out to us directly via email or Facebook Messenger. We will continue communicating with vendors through those channels.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate this, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support of this community always 💗

We’re coming together for something really special 🥹

On Saturday, April 18th at 9 AM, we’ll be meeting at Rowden Park in Lapeer for a simple, love filled Autism Awareness Walk 💙

This walk is about showing up…
For the incredible kids.
For the strong, loving mamas.
For a community that deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated 🩵

We invite you to wear blue and walk with us 💙
We’ll also have blue balloons for the kiddos to make it extra special.

No pressure, no expectations- come as you are, stay as long as you’d like, and let your littles lead the way.

We are still smiling thinking about last weekend’s Easter Egg Hunt 🥹💛✨

Seeing all the little faces light up, the excitement, the laughter, the memories being made, it truly meant everything to us 🐣🌈

Over 700 eggs, so many sweet surprises, and the most amazing group of mamas & kiddos! We couldn’t have asked for a better day 🥰🐰💕

We can’t wait to see all our mamas & minis TOMORROW for our Easter Egg Hunt 🥹💛✨

Just a few quick reminders to make check-in smooth and keep everything running on time:

📍 Check-in will be with one of our head mamas, Becca Sliz, under the pavilion
-Kiddos will receive their free bunny ears + goodie bags at check-in
-We’ll also get everyone placed into the correct hunt groups

⏰ Hunts will begin PROMPTLY at 2:30 PM
-Please arrive on time to participate!

🎟️ VERY IMPORTANT:
-Kiddos MUST be registered to participate
-A parent/guardian MUST show their official Easter Egg Hunt ticket at check-in
-Tickets were sent to your email upon registration

Kiwanis Club of Lapeer just won $25,000 for an all-inclusive playground at the Rowden Park! 🎉

A place where every child- of all abilities -can play together is officially coming to Lapeer 🥹💙

This is such a huge win for our community and we adore this for our minis!! 😍

Drumroll, please! The winner of the 2026 Legacy of Play Contest is...

the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer, Michigan, U.S.! 🎉

The club has won US$25,000 in playground equipment from Kiwanis partner Landscape Structures Inc., which will help make their nature-inspired, inclusive playground at Rowden Park a reality.
