OPERATION HERO

The web site has been able to allow essential workers a place to submit a request for ppe covering currently 7 states and about 50 locations. All requests are directed to a volunteer group or acting business that is giving free items away. This opensource file system allows Volunteers to access open request forums that have been submitted by Essential workers/ facilities. The opensource file system is structured to allow the volunteers to mark the request as (Open, Working, and or Completed).

24 hours into the launch of the web site on 4/13/2020 and over 2000 pieces of FREE PPE have been delivered to Essential Workers from the Volunteers who are supporting the ones we now refer to for what they are “HEROES”.
