We invite you to join us for Parent Toolkit Live, hosted by Emma Bruckman, 2025/2026 MSU BSW Intern.

In this one-hour virtual session, Emma will share insights gathered from parents in our community and introduce the Parent Toolkit developed as her capstone project—created to equip families with practical tools and guidance. Together, we will share insights, connect, and explore resources from our new Parent Toolkit, built with you in mind.

We will cover topics such as cybersecurity, navigating “the talk,” mental health, discipline, friendships and relationships, and communication.

This is not only an informative session, but also a space to learn from and connect with other parents. Discussion and questions are highly encouraged. The stronger the community, the greater the impact. While this event is private, it is not exclusive—please feel free to share this invitation with your networks!

✨ YOU’RE INVITED TO CREATE WITH US ✨

Since 2024, Ready Set ASPIRE has had the honor of curating the Art Wall at Blue Owl Coffee Co, featuring the brilliant work of local artists here in Lansing.

But this month… we’re making space for you. 💙
In the space that reminds us that “Hope Lives Here”, we’re inviting our community to create hope together.

When you stop by Blue Owl in ReoTown, you’ll find our Creative Community Board stocked with supplies (provided by Ready Set ASPIRE 🎨✂️).

You can:
đź–Š Draw or sketch
đź“° Create a collage
đź’Ś Leave an inspiring message on a notecard
🌿 Share words that bring hope

No pressure. No perfection. Just expression.

One part of our mission is to inspire hope through holistic relationship education — and we believe hope grows when people feel seen, heard, and connected. This board is a small but meaningful way to practice that together.

So grab a coffee. Take a moment. Leave a little light. ✨

🚦Let’s fill the wall, and our community, with HOPE.

Visions don't necessarily have to be "big"; they just need to be achievable. We often think goals and future plans must be elaborate and ambitious to be effective in motivating us to work towards them, but that’s a myth! An effective vision requires three key things: clarity on what you want to achieve, knowing why it matters to you, and support from people who can help hold you accountable.

A powerful vision can be as brief as 2–3 lines, or it can be grand and completely detailed-you decide!

🚦Remember: What matters most is the purpose fueling your vision and the environment you create to pursue it.

Lewis Carol wrote, “If you don’t
know where you are going, any road
will take you there.”

If you're familiar with what it means to have visions and dreams, you know that these ideas can be intimidating because of how grand they are. But visions don't just have to be for what is years, or even months from now. Your visions can be for tomorrow. Say you want to be a better student. Or friend. Tomorrow's vision could look like striving to get that certain homework assignment done right when you get home, before you pick up your phone, spending a few minutes reading a book outside of class, or going for a walk. It could look like hosting an after school study session with a small group of friends, or sending them an encouraging text message.

Lewis Carol's quote sheds light on the fact that whether or not we know where we are going, we are going somewhere. That is why even having the slightest bit of an idea for where we want to go (especially if it's just one day at a time) is ideal as these ideas will guide the outcome of where we end up. At Ready Set Aspire, we are here to equip and empower you with information and tools that help individuals make positive choices; ultimately leading down the path to where and who you aspire to be!

What is a vision that you have (it could be for this evening) that you believe will help you take a step towards the person you want to become?
