Starting October 1st, upcoming federal changes to SNAP benefits will directly impact many individuals and families within our community. From children to older adults, many of our neighbors will face a significant reduction in food assistance.

To help bridge this gap, we are asking for your support. Please consider donating items from the food list included in this post to our center. Every donation will be carefully packaged based on the individual family needs of those impacted by this policy.

We are starting out our week with gratitude. Creative Wellness supported our caregiving team, so they can be ready for a new semester of support for the community. We are a strong community when we work together.

Our partnership with MSU Honors College brings extra hands and big hearts to the RDC each fall. In 2026, these individuals got busy helping us clean the classrooms, mail updates, and prepare the grounds for the upcoming school year. Spartans get it done. Let's go GREEN!

Lansing is a wonderful community. Today, the RDC wants to share our thanks to All Faith Alliance for Refugees - AFAR for supplying kiddos across the area with backpacks and school supplies. It takes a village to move us forward. Thank you for your passion for supporting newcomer children!
