The American Public Transit Association just released a report concluding every $1B invested in public transportation generates $5B for the US economy. We need to grow our transit in American cities to reduce dependence on cars and all the costs that come with that dependence. Transit investment in Lansing can transform the place we live for the better.

The American Public Transportation Association urges Congress to support transit investment in the upcoming surface transportation legislation.
