We’re thrilled to share this powerful feature in the Daily Maverick highlighting MasiSports’ founder, Vintcent van der Bijl, and the incredible transformation happening in Masiphumelele. 🌟🏏

Because of your generosity, we’re able to partner with MasiSports to bring hope, opportunity, and joy to the children of Masiphumelele through sport, mentorship, and community support.

Together, we’re not just playing games — we’re changing lives. 💛

We at Nika would like to add to the congratulations to the 2024 Grade 12 students. We are proud of our partnerships with MasiSports and IkamvaYouth SA and are excited to continue working with them in 2025.

Thank you for all you continue to do contributing through your donations, making it possible for our partners to continue working with the students currently on their journey to Grade 12. It takes a community working together helping these students and we at Nika are excited to be a part of that journey.

MasiSports applauds the 2024 Grade 12 class of learners, the principals, and staff on the Matric results – there was an incredible 25.5% improvement in the percentage of learners who passed, and a 53.9% improvement in the percentage of learners who received a Varsity pass.

The NPOs who have been involved need to be mentioned as well – Masicorp, Ikamva Youth, Atlas Foundation, Judith Neilson Foundation, and MasiSports. This has been a team effort led by the two principals who have worked tirelessly with their staff.

A holistic education programme is the only platform that acts as a springboard for the youth. These results are a vast improvement – we need to drive towards improvements every year until, within three years, we can celebrate a pass rate of 95%+! What a goal that is.
