🐾 Volunteers Needed at East Texas Animal Rescue! 🐾

We are looking for dependable volunteers who can visit consistently and help socialize our rescue dogs while they wait for their forever homes.

Spending time walking, playing with, grooming, and simply sitting with the dogs helps them build confidence, improve their manners, and become better prepared for adoption. Even a few dependable hours each week can make a huge difference.

Volunteer activities may include:

* Walking and exercising dogs
* Playing and providing enrichment
* Helping shy dogs become comfortable around people
* Practicing basic leash skills and commands
* Taking photos or videos to help promote them
* Giving each dog the individual attention they deserve

Experience is helpful but not required. Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for animals are what matter most.

Luna is ready for her forever home! 🐾

At approximately 5 years old and 46 pounds, Luna has spent most of her life in kennels after coming from a rescue that has since closed. She is a sweetheart, but she needs time and patience to warm up to new people because she has had very limited time outside of her kennel.

Luna needs a loving person or family who will give her the time, patience, and care she deserves so she can finally learn what it means to just be a dog and enjoy a happy life.

She is spayed and up to date on her shots as well as flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

We can help with transportation if out of the area.

We are in desperate need of homes, fosters, or rescue placement for these dogs.

Many of them came from another rescue that had to close after the owner passed away. Several have been kenneled for a long time, and they deserve the chance to finally know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family.

They need patience, understanding, and loving homes willing to give them the fresh start they have been waiting for.

East Texas Animal Rescue urgently needs foster homes for dogs who are waiting for their chance at a forever family. Fostering gives these dogs a safe, loving place to decompress, learn, and feel what it’s like to be part of a home again.
