Angelas Journey with Trisomy 13

Angela was diagnosed after she was born with Mosaic Trisomy 13 (Patu Syndrome). It is a rare genetic disorder said to be incompatible with life. she is defying the odds already by being a fighter. She is currently in the hospital on the ventilator after her surgery for the g-tube and trach. she is on minimal settings right now which is good but she is loosing weight and not gaining it.She has cent

I would like this page to also raise awareness of this Chromosome condition because many people do not know much about it. Angela has already defied the odds by being born alone because alot of babies with Trisomy in general are still born, miscarried, don't live past a day, and don't live past a month! She is now almost two years old.. we have made it past the 6 month !marker wich is amazing because i was told that she wouldnt after her surgury for the ventilator. :)
