FaithfulGive is almost here! October 18–20!

Three days. One community. So many opportunities to make a difference!

FaithfulGive is a chance to come together and support local organizations doing meaningful work right here in our community. And we would love for you to be part of what God is doing through Side Street Mission!

When you give to Side Street Mission during FaithfulGive, you help us:
- Stock up on essential supplies and hygiene items for our friends.
- Expand into new outreach locations and reach more people.
- Provide more loads of laundry through our Loads of Love ministry.
- Feed more people through our community breakfasts and Hot Dogs and Hope.
- Build relationships and help more people experience the love of Jesus!

Every gift helps us go a little further, reach a few more people, and share the hope and love of Jesus in practical ways. We are so grateful to have a community that makes this mission possible!

Wednesday, 10/14 – Loads of Love Laundry | 12:30 PM
📍 Festiva Laundry, 701 Columbia Ave., Lancaster
Help us serve our friends by providing clean clothes and a little extra love!

Saturday, 10/17 – Snacks & Prayer | 10 AM
📍 39 N. Duke St., Lancaster
Help us load up our wagons with snacks and supplies, then walk downtown to connect with our friends and share hope!

COLUMBIA

Saturday – Free Pancake Breakfast | 9 AM
📍 360 Locust St., Columbia
Join us as we serve a free pancake breakfast to our Columbia community, sharing good food, fellowship, and connection!

We are so thankful for the Lancaster Snow Angels and their generous donations of supplies! We are incredibly grateful for organizations that have a heart for serving our communities and for leaders who are willing to step up, bring people together, and make a difference. When we work together, we can reach more people, meet real needs, and share the love of Jesus in powerful ways.

Can you believe our Thanksgiving Community Meal is only 6 weeks away?!

This year, we’re getting ready to pull up another seat at the table and welcome 400+ friends for a FREE Thanksgiving meal.

Here’s how YOU can help us make it happen, you can donate the following items:

-Turkeys
-Canned green beans
-Canned gravy
-Boxed mashed potatoes
-Boxed stuffing mix
-Grocery store gift cards
-Monetary donations

Every turkey donated, every can collected, and every gift given helps us put a meal on the table for someone in our community who may not otherwise have one.

We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table—and this Thanksgiving, we want to make sure there are plenty of seats.

What if the person you walked past today wasn’t looking for a handout, but simply for someone to see them?

Behind every person we meet on the streets is a story. Life gets hard, circumstances change, and sometimes people find themselves in places they never imagined. But no one should be defined by their past, their mistakes, or their current situation. Every person deserves dignity, compassion, and love.

This is why Side Street Mission exists. We show up with food, supplies, prayer, and resources, but most importantly, we show up to build relationships. We listen, we care, and we remind people that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

We believe Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, not just with words, but through action. Sometimes making a difference starts with something as simple as sitting beside someone and saying, “I see you. You matter.”

You can be part of this, too! Whether you volunteer, donate, pray, or help spread the word, you can help us make a difference, one person, one conversation, and one act of love at a time.

10 Days until FaithfulGive.org

We are trusting God to provide $25,000 to help fund a year of outreach through Side Street Mission. We want you to know what your support helps make possible.

It helps provide hygiene bags and essential supplies for our friends in the community, supports our Pancake Breakfasts in Columbia and Hot Dogs & Hope, helps us provide more Loads of Love laundry outreach, and gives us the opportunity to step into new outreach locations and reach more people with practical support, meaningful relationships, and the hope of Jesus.

FaithfulGive is about more than reaching a financial goal. It’s about having the resources to keep showing up, meeting real needs, building relationships, and sharing the love of Jesus throughout the year.

SATURDAY OUTREACH RECAP!

What a Saturday! Our very first Hot Dogs & Hope in Columbia was a huge success, and what a turnout it was!

We gave away 150+ FREE hot dogs, but even more importantly, we had the opportunity to connect with so many of our friends in Columbia. We shared meals, had conversations, prayed with people, laughed together, and simply spent time building relationships.

In Lancaster, we also had a great day connecting with our friends and reminding them that they are seen and not alone.

This is what Side Street Mission is all about — showing up, meeting practical needs, building genuine relationships, and sharing the hope and love of Jesus.

We are so thankful for every volunteer who showed up and every person who continues to support what God is doing through Side Street Mission.

What a day. What a blessing. What a God!
