📢 Lancaster & Columbia — We have TWO exciting things coming your way!

Starting tomorrow, join us in Lancaster at Culliton Park (238 Water St.) beginning at 10:00 AM. We’ll have snacks, fellowship, and resources available to help get you connected with support and community. We’d love to see you there!

🌭 Then this Saturday, our hot dog cart will be set up for the Firefighter Parade in Columbia!

And here’s the best part—we have some NEW menu items for you to check out! Bring the family, grab dinner, and help support our outreach efforts while enjoying some great food.

☀️ SUMMER SUPPLY DRIVE ☀️

Summer outreach season is HERE, and we need your help as we continue serving and loving our homeless community throughout Lancaster.

Every outreach, we hand out water bottles, snacks, hygiene products, socks, summer essentials, and encouragement to people who are hurting and overlooked. What may seem small to us can mean EVERYTHING to someone living on the streets.

A cold bottle of water says:
“You matter.”

A hygiene kit says:
“You are seen.”

A simple conversation and prayer reminds someone:
“You are not forgotten.”

As the summer continues, our supplies are running low, and we would love for our community to come alongside us to help restock for the months ahead!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice reminds us of the importance of compassion, unity, and serving others with love and humility. As we reflect today, we also continue our mission to care for those in need within our community, because every life matters.

We pray for the families of the fallen, for our veterans, and for peace in our nation.

Every week at Side Street Mission, we meet people who are hurting, isolated, and searching for hope.

Some are struggling financially.
Some are battling addiction.
Some simply need someone to notice them, listen to their story, and remind them they matter.

What we’ve learned is this:
Real change begins with relationships.

A warm conversation.
A shared meal.
A simple act of kindness.
Someone showing up consistently.
