al of the festival is to provide something for everyone by combining an intensive educational program with an outstanding concert series presented by world-class pianists. We invite you to enter the festival as an active participant or observer (see registration). Our educational program provides unique opportunities for learning from world-renowned artists and collaborating with other pianists and chamber musicians. Take part in lessons, masterclasses with guest artists, solfège instruction, improvisation classes, chamber music coaching and performance opportunities, all on the beautiful Franklin & Marshall College campus! A series of eight world-class piano and chamber music performances will be open to the public, featuring Van Cliburn gold medalist Alexander Kobrin, the distinguished Wael Farouk, Christopher Shih, and the incomparable American String Quartet, among others. For the first time, the Festival will also feature an exclusive performance by the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra with Michael Butterman conducting and featuring LIPF Director, Xun Pan, and Artist-In-Residence, Wael Farouk. From master classes to guest recitals and enlightening lectures, the events of the 2025Lancaster International Piano Festival will prove to be beneficial and inspiring to its participants as well as enhance Lancaster community with another significant cultural event.
